After reading the reviews for this poke place, we had to check it out. We got both salmon options, and one tuna served with rice and edamame. Everything was delicious, fresh and lots of flavour. The staff were super friendly and helpful for us first timers. Definitely felt like we were in Hawaii- would recommend for anyone wanting a quick yummy lunch by the beach.
Best poke I’ve had outside of Hawaii!Small place, and be prepared to wait in line for a bit - this is a smaller countertop establishment. I got the Spicy Ahi and Spicy Salmon plate with a scoop of rice and scoop of macaroni salad. All were incredible, the fish is some of the freshest I’ve had. As others have said, recommend taking your plate to go and hitting the beach to eat. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest!
Nice employees and great tasting & filling poke! Furikake Salmon was the best while the Shoyu Ahi & Spicy Ahi were both very good. Would come and get again. Altho roughly $5 for extra side of poke.Warm rice was really good.No bathroom here and no dine-in. Just take out.
Best food I had while visiting San Diego. Got the plate with 2 types of poke - Spicy Ahi and Furikake Salmon - and 2 scoops of rice. That was enough for two people. The poke was tender, flavorful, nicely cut into bite sized pieces. PRO TIP: put the rice in the juices from the poke, eat on the beach.
I haven’t had poke much at all in my life. The two guys at the counter were great and recommended what to have and how much to get. It felt like really good value for money - all really fresh and tasty with great service to go with it. Would recommend to anyone.
Delicious poke that allows the flavor of the fish to shine 10/10 i love bringing friends here and they always find it amazing
It’s Raw is some of the freshest poke you can get in San Diego. The fresh Ahi is a local favorite, so get it before it sells out. And try it with a side of the delicious macaroni salad. There’s no seating, so take your food to go and enjoy it on the beach since you’re only a few blocks away.
This is my favorite poke shop in SD. Be prepared for a long line because it’s well worth the wait. Grab your to go poke with rice and mac n cheese, walk over to the beach and enjoy the best poke experience you’ll ever have! I will be back for more and more!
The freshest ever poke we had. It is served Hawaiian style, selection of 9 -10 types of fish Tina, Salmon, crawfish tails. The fish are very fresh. The kids say the best poke they had ever in USA. It is take out only. Very much recommended.
The furikake salmon was great. I kind of wish there was more rice though, but one can never have enough rice
