Food was good, will return in the future, would recommend to anyone… Had the small oxtail, they gave me a good portion, the rice and peas was good, the vegetables were good also… Also had a side of jerk chicken, all was good and very happy they didn’t over power the chicken with the seasoning, I could enjoy it without it being too spicy…
One of my favorite spots in San Diego. Excellent food and huge portions at a great price. Highly recommended the brown stew chicken.
I can't believe I fell for the reviews. I Don't know what the hype was about but I was very disappointed. Waist of drive, waist of time and waist of food. I ordered the large jerk chicken and large oxtails that came out to $36. Food was nice and hot but food was unseasoned and very bland. Three pieces of chicken? Mostly rice and cabbage. My man is from Memphis and he makes better jerk chicken wings! My first time trying Jamaican food. Won't be my last but that place will be my last. Sorry but not sorry.
My family came from AZ to eat Jamaican food. I can't tell if they enjoyed it or not it was so much and they threw so much away and me I'm a vegan and I got a veggie plate the veggies didn't have any seasoning my rice and beans were very Bland I was expecting traditional spicy Jamaican I guess that's not how these Jamaicans prepare it so I give this restaurant a thumbs down we threw away a lot when the food is good kids say back it up and must take it home I want food don't taste good it ends up in the trash

Love this place. Although it's a small place, the food is amazing and the service was outstanding. The ladies behind the counter make you feel welcome unlike some other places that I have gone to. This is now my go to spot for Jamaican food. They also have other items available for purchase like hot sauce and jerk marinade. Give this place a try.

Beautiful people. I felt like home. Curry goat and oxtails with hoppinjohn and veg, plantains, beef patty. I was fat full and satisfied! This Barbados gal couldn't have done better.
