Masala sauce is amazing! The food is good quality.Mixed pickle so salty.A lot of take out. Not a busy restaurant on Friday night.Nice urban chic environment immersed in Indian pop culture.
Ordered matar paneer and dal makhani from veg options. Matar paneer was good while Dal Makhani wasn’t too good. Had less salt in their food. My friends loved their non-veg options. Garlic naan was good. Aloo tikki was delicious and different. Pista kulfi and ras malai were amazingg!! Their service is little slow though. The ambience and vibe was really good, they played punjabi songs. All in all, it was a good experience.
Amazing food, and the ambiance was one of the best I’ve been to as far as Indian restaurants, price is VERY reasonable and 30-40 bucks should be enough for 3 people. Great quantity and amazing food quality, especially the rice. The ambiance and atmosphere was very upbeat and the water falling created a peaceful sound throughout.
Good food and nice portions. The service is aggravatingly good and the ambience is comforting and cozy. I recommend this spot if you like authentic Indian food at a fair price.
Recently I visited India Palace for lunch. If you’re craving for some delicious Indian food then you should definitely try them. Absolutely loved all the dishes we tried here. Paneer tikka Masala and Vegetable Biryani is a must try here. Overall experience was amazing. Highly recommended.
I went here to introduce my date to Indian curry! He tried a spicy lamb curry for the first time and I tried the mint curry, which was a first for me, but I adored it - I ordered mild/medium spiciness and it was perfect and pleasantly warm. The menu was easy to read. We both enjoyed out meal greatly, and the ambiance was relaxed; it was nice to be able to hear the fountain nearby and feel the breeze from the street. We were seated inside, but the doors were wide open for ventilation and it was not too windy. Felt very safe. The bathrooms were also very fine!
We were here as a party of 7, and to celebrate a friend’s engagement lunch.Overall verdict: Average Indian restaurant with decent food. Nothing overly impressed us but there was nothing that was worth complaining. All of had a mango lassi each and that tasted really good. And everyone liked it. We had the vegetable pakora, onion baji, aloo tikki and gobi 65 for starters. The tikki was good, pakora could have cooked better as it felt like the besan ( chickpea flour) was slightly on the raw side in a couple of pieces. For the main course, we had Navratna korma, mutter paneer, malai kofta and dal tadka, along with garlic naan. They also serve rice along with the entrées. The dal was very well made, spiced well and not oily and was my favorite dish among everything. The naan could have been better, definitely didn’t seem very garlicky and was a little bit rubbery too.Definitely a place to go to if you’re in the area. I’d not go out of my way to be here.
A Good Indian restaurant in its taste and Ambience. Had a great dine in experience. Paneer Tikka masala was yum ?. Go for Mango lassi instead of juice ?.Biriyani was also tasty (we ordered medium spice level) and spice level was also good
Love love love this place! I always ask for extra sauce (the red and green kind that comes with onion bahji) I am obsessed with this sauce, my main purpose for ordering Indian food is just vehicles for sauce. Anyways, I have asked for extra before at other places and sadly they always ignore me. I ask them and they always give it (free of charge) and usually it comes in tiny containers - this time they gave me these large ones!!! With a smily face on top. :D I literally gasped with happiness and excitement when I saw how much they gave me. I never write reviews but I had to immediately praise them for their precious gift of sauce. The rest of their food is amazing as well. 10/10 recommend
Simply the best Indian food I’ve eaten outside of home - an absolute gem. Congratulations to Steven and his team for the excellent cuisine, great service and lovely setting. Spot on ! Don’t miss this place if you are in San Diego - we took lunch and dinner and it was consistently great.
