We were so unhappy with the service and our food from this place.We ordered online based on the time frame it was quoted to us, once we recieved at store to pick up our sandwiches, not only our food was not ready, but also had to wait additional 20 minutes to get our food.Our sandwiches were a mess, all my food was out on the paper wrap.We are very disappointed with the service and our food quality at your location.
I was doing some work at a nearby coffee house and decided to pop over to Ike's for lunch. You order the sandwich in a small inside area and the seating is outside, and it happened to be a gorgeous mid-April day. I ordered a build-your-own roast beef sandwich and it as really tasty. The bread is crunchy, but also kind of thin so you really get to enjoy the contents of sandwich without a ton of bread.
I'm BESIDE myself! How could you serve this to someone?!! I purchased a sandwich from Ike's (University Ave.) to bring back to my husband for lunch. After taking a bite, he noticed how stale the bun was and when he looked he found this!!! Blue/white mold covering the whole bun. My husband has an extremely compromised immune system after battling 2 types of cancer for the last seven years and this could have landed him in the hospital! I called Ike's and was told the only thing they could do was put my name on a list for a free sandwich. I would never eat from here again. Not only was it expensive, i waited a while for this Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE sandwich. I feel this was not an accident because why would i be asked to step outside and why would there be no oversite or inspecting the food before serving the public. Very disappointed, i was singing this places praises to my husband before.

San Diego’s Definite Go To Sandwich Shop! Delicious sandwiches every time I’ve been I try a different one, on tap beer & great service. They also have a clean patio to eat your sandwiches in the sun.
a sandwich costs $14 with tax. i waited over an hour. my order paid an hours worth of someones wages. i never got the sandwich. monday afternoon. no one in line. i think they should just close this location. they completely failed are losing money on the work thats being provided.

Such a solid sandwich spot! Good size portions and quality ingredients. Each time I visit the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. Awesome selection of chips, drinks, and of course sandwiches.
Whattup so I'm writing this in conjunction with my gf. she thinks they are good but she gets the same one every single time and she puts pickles on it like an i̶n̶s̶a̶n̶e̶ ̶p̶e̶r̶s̶o̶n̶ person of unique taste but besides that ikes sandwiches r the BOMBDIGGITY. thats all. 5 stars. Those last three sentences were her just to elaborate I have tried literally every one of their sandwiches and I mean literally all of them I have a google sheets that I keep with ratings of each one PM me for deets. Anyway great service, incredible sandwiches, and an extremely solid happy hour deal, go between 4 and 6 on weekdays for a free bag o' chips and soda. Boom there's that Local Guide knowledge baby
Got the Ménage A Trois sando and was so delighted. Dutch crunch bread with super tender chicken and a mouthwatering sauce. Highly recommend! They also have really good craft lemonades !
