I have enjoyed eating here since Minobo Mini San was in charge. The name says it all "Number One".Only the freshest best quality Sushi and the helpful professional Staff are at the Heart of this long standing success story in Sushi and Japanese cuisine! When I think of "Ichiban " I think of the word "Oishi Des" delicious food!

I am truly disgusted by the service I received at this restaurant tonight. We spent from 7pm-8:30pm at this restaurant and left with absolutely nothing. We were waiting about 35 minutes before our waiter came by the table to take our order, so I had to get up and go find someone to take our order. We got our order placed and we’re never checked on again until the time we left. We had to watch tables that showed up an hour later than us get their drinks, appetizers, and rolls before we even were looked at. We walked out and will never be returning. A very sad experience despite the busy night ,customers deserve more.

Staff was friendly and the food hit the spot. It’s not the best I’ve ever had, but it tasted good and I wasn’t hungry after eating! Seating was also comfortable and not relatively crowded at 8pm.

4.5/5 Everything was delicious. I was surprised that it tasted more like authentic Japanese cuisine than some of the neighboring sushi places. It's a bit small and the soda had a weird taste to it, but the food is really good.-Beef teriyaki dinner special, some nigiri, and the ramen

love this place... the service is great and the food is yummy

It was on my “want to go” list and when I did I was happy with the quality and freshness of the ingredients. I was a bit disappointed when the waiter took away the sriracha from my table because I didn’t have the .50/$1 they change for it.

Decent food at a reasonable price for this part of the city. Parking is tight and metered, but not unreasonable. Restroom at the time we were there was soiled, also not unexpected for this part of the city.

The good: wait staff is very prompt and they bring items out as they are made no waiting for all the food to be done before eating. Simple place and extremely affordable.... love happy hour. Avocado tempura and the crunchy roll are super delicious. The bad: no parking and if you sit outside by the entry other potential customers will be looking at you while you eatThe ugly: park across the street and the cashier totally decided she was going to put together a large order before she took my order and I was literally waiting for 5 minutes when she saw me standing there. Was kinda offended.

The food is really good but we found hair in our food twice….

A small but nice Japanese restaurant! The staff are very friendly and nice! The environment is good!!They have happy hours sushi specials (4pm - 8pm), bento box and ramen! We ordered teriyaki chicken bento box ($12.50), spicy miso ramen ($13.50), Philadelphia roll ($6) and customized salmon sashimi ($16.00). All of them are yummy!!!
