Came here on a whim after being unable to get into another nearby restaurant. We were promptly seated. We waited 15 minutes before a waitress even showed up at our table, because she was sat down at the table next to us flirting with the lone gentleman at that table rather than attending to her tables.We ordered an appetizer and two drinks which came reasonably quickly, but the appetizer (Pretzels and Beer Cheese) was burnt, and the cheese was old and had a film on top. We then ordered two burgers and asked for a refill on our drinks. The burgers came 15 minutes later but weren't delivered by our server, because she was back at the table next to us for the last 10 minutes flirting with the gentleman there again. We still hadn't gotten refills.The fries were fresh but at this point we were so disappointed that when the waitress finally showed up at our table again, we just asked for the check. That took another 15 minutes because she sat down again at the table next to us with the gentleman.There were multiple other customers at tables in our area who were also looking irritated. A family on the other side of us was seated about halfway through our visit and hadn't even had drinks or their order taken yet when left about 30 minutes after they were seated.She offered to get a manager to discount the meal, but we declined, it had been such a terrible experience we just wanted to pay and leave immediately. Never did get that refill. It just seems if you're not one of the regulars, they don't really care about you. This was my first and last time eating at a Hooters restaurant, which is disappointing because my spouse highly recommended the restaurant due to their past positive experiences eating at them.
Was there today in the late afternoon during a non busy time, and sat at the bar for 15 minutes with an empty glass before the bartender finally asked if I wanted a refill (like I would actually stick around with that kind of service). Worst Hooters I've been to. Judging by the other reviews it looks like attentiveness is an issue with this location.
We came here as UK tourists, our first visit. We read a review where someone complained about finding a bone in their boneless wings and a waitress looked them dead in the face and said, at least you know it's chicken. We found that review so funny we decided to come.We were surprised and impressed with the quality and size of the food, it was pretty good value, though I was shocked at the cost of my 2nd drink, I recall it being around $9.50.We liked the service better here than anywhere we've been in the last few weeks of eating out daily (3 week vacation) as we find American service to be overbearing usually, it was laid back which is more what we're used to as we could chill and didn't feel rushed.Even though you kind of know the servers approach is a bit of an act it's nice to chat. It can seem a bit less genuine seeing the servers doing the same things in the same order with the same mannerisms as to you a few moments ago. But still preferable to other places imo.I would recommend it for the food, atmosphere, and customer service. ?
It has good food. Went with my old friend of mine and met a nice young girl. Great place. I had this lovely waiter giving her 110% to make sure my meal was just the way I wanted. Food was great. They give you a ton of fries ?
I never expect much going to a hooters but went a couple weeks ago because the Daytona boneless wings are a guilty pleasure and my office is around the corner. Anyways I’m halfway through the bunch and I feel this Big Crunch in my mouth. Turns on there was a bunch of little bones in one of them. I spit it out and ask the bartender what the deal was with bones in my boneless wings. She looks at me dead in the face and says at least you know it was chicken. Needless to say I didn’t finish my food. Paid my bill and left. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else lol.
Honestly I hadn't been to a Hooters in a very long time and it reminded me how terrible the food is here. The prices are too high for what you get and the quality is not that great. The girls were cute but besides that there was nothing else good about this place.
