First time here for my husband and I today... we really enjoyed the food - we ordered the Big Bruddah and the Kalua Fries.. all of the items were really flavorful with huge portions. Loved the atmosphere and customer service was great! We will definitely be back again soon to try other dishes.
The owner is very rude, when I walked in, she just talked with a customer and let me stand there for around 5 mins to wait for their chatting. The guy stand infront of me just left with his girlfriend with angry. The owner also told me, I have to pay through the phone, then she told me, I did not make your order when you called me, you can leave if you don't want to wait.They also charge you additional 4% service fee if you use credit card, which doesn't make sense. So rude and I won't be there any more. This store is even not showing on the homestyle hawaiian website.

The quality is very hit and miss. Today, the Teri Fries tasted like menthol. I really don't want to know why. Besides whatever TF was in my fries, the meat was burnt. The lumpia we're also clearly not fresh. The sauce that comes with the lumpia tasted like the juices from canned mixed fruits. I won't be eating here again.
Spent over $200 for food and they were unable to provide plates forks napkins all that was extra it was like a $1.50 per plate if I wanted plates You would think spending over 200 bucks they would at least provide some plates napkins and forks but the people I bought the food for loved The food it was great but the aftercare at this place they don't care about the customer also had a pickup time of 12:00 we didn't get out of there till around 12:30 they weren't ready and they had plenty of time to have our order ready
Amazing family owned and run place. Spam masubi, garlic shrimp, Loco moco, and lumpia all taste delicious.

The younger girl that works the register could smile and be friendly with the guests, but instead just robotically answer your questions like somehow I'm an inconvience to her life for not knowing what "Lava Chicken" is. Her answer, I kid you not was "It's a chicken dish we make here in house". Awesome, thanks, now I totally know what to expect when I order that dish. To make it even worse...she messed up and gave me the wrong food which I didn't realize til I got home and it was mediocre. The Mac salad was bland, the Kastsu was dry (and also they don't give you anywhere enough sauce) and the rice was basically a ball of mush. I was really hoping to get away from L&L and support local business but it's cheaper and tastes better, with better portions.
