Told the staff repeatedly that we need very mild food ... bought over $100 of food and added tip. When we called to let the staff know that it was too hot/ spicy the only response was that the kitchen would be advised. No apology and no offer to replace the dishes! While the curries were tasty they were too hot to consume so we had to discard it.Very poor customer service. Also a lot of curry and few vegetables in the dishes so the restaurant could save money.
This is a good place to try out some authentic indian and nepalese food. I visited this place when I visited San Diego and I liked it. I ordered Veg Thali and my wife ordered Veg Momos. Both items were good and they were fairly priced. I won’t mind going to this place again. When we visited there was only person taking care of everyone so the service was a little slow but overall good experience.
This is the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The ingredients were super fresh and the seasonings and spices were perfectly balanced. They have several vegetarian options, more than most places. I got the Aloo Gobi and the Malai Kofta to go to share with my partner. They were both delicious and very well served. We also had a garlic naam, the garlic was the freshest and complemented the meal very nicely. The server was very sweet as well. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I couldn’t stop telling my partner: “OMG THIS FOOD IS AMAZINGGG!!!”
Nice place. Good food. The service was ok, but I think maybe it’s a cultural thing, to be without a smile and emotions. Anyway everything else went good.
Visiting San Diego during Christmas weekend. Went to this restaurant by reviews on Google, one thing I must say is the reviews don’t justify the restaurant quality. The food was okay but the Yellow Dal was uncooked. And I understand the time delay in service due to Christmas but serving uncooked food is not acceptable and justified. Also the waiter was not at all friendly and was seeming in a hurry to get us out. Didn’t ask or allow us to sit inside and Asked us to decide the menu while we’re standing outside in the December Cold. Didn’t listen to any request and denied any request upfront.
I'm surprised this place doesn't have a higher rating, like at least 4.8. I was at Boot World right next to it and it smelled soooo good. We decided to get lunch here regardless of the 4.3. The service was fine and we got recommendations for our 1st time with this type of cuisine. Everything we put in our mouths was absolutely friggin delicious. Decor and food very authentic as we heard other guests from these areas of the world comment. We WILL be back many more times.
Honestly the food taste was not too great. We ordered samosa and veg thali. Samosa was not crispy and bland. Veg thali had saag paneer and navarathna kurma. Saag paneer was delicious but navrathna kurma was bland without any taste. Kheer was also plain. Would still give 3 because half of the items were good enough.
Delicious. They had great recommendations for us to try, plus very friendly and attentive staff. Definitely will return here!!
If you are in mission bay. It is a must try food. Only thing I will say it is yummy to my tummy ?. Taste is so good and better then my home town 209 . I do recommend this place for anyone love spicy foods . ?They is lots of parking and they have lots of different beers from India ?? to taste. Dinner time is crowded on the weekends. They do take out and take online order. The Lamb biryani is Dame good and mangoes juice is bomb. Nepal food is awesome taste. Try some thing new at this place. I recommend this place as good food and friendly waiter to help you.
Food was top quality for compared to the other couple Himalayan/Indian restaurants I've been too. Recommend the Lamb Korma and Chicken Chili. Rice and Nann are excellent. Nice variety of import beer too.
