Awesome servers!! Great food. Amazing atmosphere!

This place was great! Great workers, the warriors game, and family fun! They have great deals on certain days like taco Tuesday discounts as well as drink deals! What made my experience so good was family feud night where me and my dad got to compete against the other families for good prizes! The questions were hard and had good themes but were also appropriate and kid friendly! We ended up winning a $30 gift card to eat there again which we definitely are! It made me and my dads day to hang out and win some prizes while watching what we love and having some drinks! So thank you so much to the staff and members! You guys are great! 10/10 experience

The Margaritas is where it’s at and the menu is amazing! People watching on the front patio and great music! ? We will be back the next time we are in town! 10/10 for me!!!

friendly staff and very good food

Solid taco spot and went with the fish tacos! Great place to watch sports too, service is fast and friendly.

Sat at a bar table on the sidewalk which is a good spot for people watching. Ordered some fancy margaritas which they claim are “best on the beach.” Very credible. Brussels sprouts appetizer was delicious and huge (we took half to go). Grilled Mahi tacos were good. Charming place with a laid back beach vibe.

This bar is the place to be!! Wow! Visiting La Jolla and thanking the Universe for bringing us here. Earlier we hit some bars that wasn’t our vibe and then came to Guava and found our home. The Manager, Andy Danh, and crew is outstanding and the reason we keep coming back. Also, the drinks are so delicious!! YUM! The music…right on! MUST SEE/VISIT bar and we can’t wait to try the food out as well. Definitely go in and ask for Andy Danh! He and the crew will take great care of you! ?

Great bar!! The staff is phenomenal, so much fun & energetic. Exceptional seating areas, so many options each different. Drinks were delicious. Can't say enough what a awesome group the staff is. We were so happy to come across this all around gem on our travels, returned every day for the remainder of our mission beach stay!

Very disappointed as this was our 2nd visit to Guava Beach Bar and Grill. For some reason the waiter would not accept one member of our party's ID , the very same ID that was accepted the previous day (Government issued from Ireland) and also the form of ID that was used by all the party and accepted. So unfortunately our party had to leave this bar and went to one next door , where the manager of Guava followed us and tried to persuade the other bar not to serve us eventhough all of us had valid ID . The next bar served us as was right and proper we were a party ranging in ages from 21 to 56 and out to enjoy a nice family dinner which we did in Miss B's Coconut Club where the staff and management were very welcoming . A big thumbs down from me and my family for Guava Beach Bar and Grill ?.

In San Diego for my sons wedding having a fabulous time in Mission Beach. We supported the local businesses between hair, nails, eating and drinking. Unfortunately Guava Beach bar spoiled one of our precious nights. We were a party of 19 out having drinks and dinner. We arrived to the restaurant in varying groups. Most were seated and served with food and drinks when the last group arrived. Suddenly the ID they produced was not accepted!! Even though this ID ( foreign drivers license) was accepted for the group that were already seated and previously accepted on our earlier visit to Guava Beach (had only returned because the waiting staff were so nice) Thankfully Ms. B'S next door was still serving and we had lovely food and drinks. Ye need a new Manager.... someone who is professional and consistent. Your manager was neither.
