Food was just okay, had a great selection but taste could have been better. My daughter mainly wanted to go for the chocolate fountain. It was the best part, if it wasn't operating we would have been disappointed. Also our waited was quick to take our dirty, empty plates which was nice, but they never came back to the table to refill our drinks.
One person, dinner, 23.99 with drink.Pros: large dinner selection. Fried rice, noodles, orange chicken, beef and broccoli, shrimp, crab. Typical fare, pretty good flavor. The true winner is the habachi grill, they are top notch!! Men's barhroom was clean.Cons: No egg rolls, spring rolls. I guess fried doughnut was only lunch I got the last 2 and they were not replaced. But the other selections were good so that wasn't bad. The biggest con is that the warmers did not keep the food good. The beef and broccoli was ice cold. Food was only hot as soon as it was brought out. As it sat, it got colder and colder.
Pretty decent selection, food was warm, decent selection for dessert as well. My first time here with my Son visiting from Las Vegas. While living in San Diego many years ago... I don't think this place existed. Plan on coming back with my other kiddos in the near future. Plus the price was fair also.
Here first problem it's manager. Second table cleaning. Receptionist she's RUDE, never say hello or have a nice day. I'm eating here every day because it's close for me. But rude it's terrible.
My friend & I went for a birthday lunch. I had eaten here only once before & enjoyed it. This time my friend and I had the buffet. It was an amazing display with entrees, sushi, fruit, salad, dessert, fresh made stir fry separate bars. I took small portions of everything I wanted (3 plates full!) and was stuffed!! So delicious!Excellent service at the table with beverage, plate clearing, attention to needs. Very courteous staff throughout the restaurant made the visit so warm & comfortable.There was a large uncrowded table area, quiet music, and relaxed ambiance. The price was very reasonable AND gave a senior discount. Five stars, every aspect!

This place was a very pleasant surprise! Very clean, great service, beautifully decorated and the food was excellent! Very reasonable prices also! My new favorite place to eat! I highly recommend Great Plaza Buffet!
Food is ok, price is ok.. today I did visited around 6 pm and the buffet was really dirty, buffet was super busy but they need to put maintenance staff to clean after people, floor was dirty, dessert area was very very dirty, counters dirty… also the meat they use for Mongolian food is tough meat. I like the buffet I visit often, just needed to give this review to see if the can fix those issues.
Food was bomb, coconut shrimp is a must? wide variety of different foods. Wish there was crab legs and not tiny whole crabs fried.Stir fry area was the only down fall. Cook will make about 5 guest orders at a time, they will use same utensils for those wanting chili (spicy) to those who dont want chili however because same utensils are being used, your food will have spices. Not the best.Overall recommended for sure!
Ate here 3 times last year. Really good hot tasting food. Ate today horrible cold food. Half the food had a nasty metallic taste. The soup even had a burnt metal taste. The crawfish smelled like sewer. Will definitely not be coming back any time soon.
