If you’re looking for a place to make your drink completely wrong with a side of attitude this is the place for you.I came in for a dozen donuts and a matcha drink. I believe I ordered #57 (can’t remember the exact number) it was a matcha drink over ice with NO boba. I got a blended matcha WITH boba instead.When I went back to let them know and she told me they “did me a favor” by putting boba in my drink because she didn’t charge me, but her son still added it. Also, it was my fault for not specifying if I wanted the drink over ice or blended. Excuse me? If I wanted the blended matcha I would have ordered #41. I want whatever is pictured as #57. When they finally remade the drink I could hear them slamming things back there and my drink was 90% ice :(I have been a loyal customer here for about 4 years. I always brought these donuts to all my company meetings and recommend so many people to golden donut.
We’ve been a steady customers for over 7yrs but since I had my son we come Every Friday, has become a tradition of ours. The sisters are so nice and welcoming. Their donuts are incredible. Way better than the overpriced donuts with gold flakes you will find all over San Diego. There are certain donuts that sell out if you don’t get there by 7am. And their iced Vietnamese coffee is a must!
You can get this giant ham, egg and cheese croissant for a good price and it's just killer. Super filling. Staff is super welcoming too, I really feel like I'm in a neighborhood business run by just normal friendly people.

These are the best donuts I’ve ever had in my life! Literally, a hidden gem in North Park. I’m hesitant to leave a review because I don’t want people to find out about this place. Ha! But they’re so good, I have to share the wealth. I always get the bear claw that’s literally shaped like a claw. The apple filling is so good. ? When you bite into the donuts it’s like heaven doughy but a light crisp. I can’t explain it ,10/10. Also, the Vietnamese coffee, yes yes yes!!
I decided to buy donuts from this location today and the lady who was helping me started questioning me in front of the people if I knew how to speak English. My English may not be perfect or fluent, but when customers walk in, we do not expect a series of questions to purchase a donut ?..
Great donuts and priced well. Best of all I forgot my phone there and they kept it for me until I got back for it.
Their ham and cheese croissants are soooo good. Buttery, flakey croissants with ham and gruyere melted inside. And they are not by any means a small meal, they have some heft to them. My other favorite item is the strudel-like pastries that they make in blueberry, cherry, and blackberry. The donuts look amazing too, but I honestly have never been able to get past the croissants
Great little doughnut shop. Friendly service & fresh tasty doughnuts. A lot of variety, even later in the day. They accept credit cards & mobile pay as well.
