Ghost Fried Chicken was more of a ghost trying to find what is really the Gaslamp Tavern. The chicken was definitely fried right away and was super hot. And the spicy sauce was really good. It had a creamy subtle taste just before the heat kicks you in the mouth. Sadly we came when most of the drink selection was empty. Only had water, lemonade and diet sprite to choose. The lemonade was good. The open air floor plan was very nice. Biggest part that threw this place off was the signage and drink selection. The bar tender was super helpful, friendly and was attentive as possible.
Nixe bar for meeting with friends, drink and have fun.The food was good too but waiting time was very long.
Get extra spicy sauce on the side to give it an extra kick
Ordered to go and have mixed feelings. The staff was very friendly and I really liked the way the chicken was seasoned, but I requested it as spicy as possible and it was pretty mild. Also out of the three sauces (my to go selection was advertised as including 2 sauces), I only got one sauce and it was the one of the three that I didn't request. It was still good, but I came here for spicy chicken and the two sauces I didn't receive. It wasn't worth going back downtown to address the issue. I will adjust my review depending on how/if management responds.
Blandest chicken I’ve ever had; fries were soggy and also super bland. Order didn’t come with any of the requested sauces so if the voodoo aioli is a requirement, make sure it’s included.
Quite good if I don't say so myself..Ghost fries with the popcorn chicken was ??
food is so fresh and yummmm. clean professional services
We got Old/stale fries and chicken, not spicy at all. Sauce is not spicy
Had the sandwich. It was hot for hots' sake. Not really tasty, just hot. Tots were awesome.
Yum, yum, double yum! This place is soooo good. Chicken is just like you would hope. Sauces kick it up a notch. And, the fries are perfect for sharing! So glad I found this option ??
