Freddy’s is the beer place you’ve always wished for, I’m SO happy it’s in my neighborhood. Great selection and super friendly people.
I have to confess ? I went to Heidi's because my favorite deli was closed for repairs on Sunday... I had their Pastrami sandwich on rye and my friend had their Roast Beef sandwich ? they couldn't get my mind off of Poma's delicious flavors. ....size.... fulfilment. Oh well, Heidi's was an okay substitution ?
Hidden gem of north PB. I was craving a sandwich so I walked in and ordered an Italian sub. They cut the meat on a slicer in true delicatessen fashion. the lady toasted the sandwich as well. Great spot for a sandwich.

BEST SANDWICH IN SAN DIEGO! ESPECIALLY LA JOLLA / PB. the women who works there and i think also owns it is so sweet and helpful. They were also really kind to my dog that I walked there with! this place is awesome. highly recommend

So tasty and filling. Heidi's special is a jacked up club with avocado and bacon. So good!! Highly recommend.
