Good general tour and informative. Relaxing morning. The host gave a good description of what we were seeing. The ship yard or south harbor very interesting
The tour and views were great. The price is reasonable. All of the staff were rude. One of them actually slammed the gate in my face and walked away.
The cruise by it self was ordinary. No entertainment while on water. The diner was good but not a culinary experience. Music and dance at the last half hour was ok. What disturbed me the most is that the price shown at 84$ end up to be 116$ with no great explaination while buying. You have to dig the web site and even then...
Very impressed with the entire experience. Food was better than expected with lots of options including smoked salmon and raw tuna and caviar for bagels and lox. Ricardo was outstanding and our champagne glass was always topped off. Cruise was smooth and sunny Much better than any other dinner cruise I have been on. Live music was fun and engaging with out being intrusive
At over $580 for 4 people the price is ridiculous. High fees on top of high price. That said, the food was VERY good. I was shocked! 3 filet mignons and 1 regular steak were tender and tasty, and still had some red/pink. I was expecting dried out pieces of leather. Wish the salad and vegetable were bigger but all tasted great. The waiter was a bit goofy - had to ask him several times for a fork so I could eat after my salad fork was cleared away but he did bring us extra rolls. We were on the second floor, weren't given a choice, but we were glad because the tables were smaller than below. We had a table just for 4, and the tables below seemed to be for 8 or 10 (don't know if they were all for big groups or if they crammed couples together to fill them). You have to go up on the open deck to get a good view of the harbor as tables are far away from the windows. Don't think I would ever go again due to the price but we had a nice time out with our son and new daughter in law.
We had the opportunity to get the North Harbor cruise on the same day we were leaving San Diego. The cruise was nice, not really much to see but we had the chance to see couple of the US Navy Ships, we also saw some dolphins and seals. It’s a nice quick tour. The crew was amazing and friendly we loved them.Check in was fast, the picture they took for us was realy nice and we purchased itThere are drinks and snaks on the boatOverall we loved it for a 1 time tour
Awesome cruise! We enjoyed the champagne brunch cruise very much. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The sax player was awesome too!
We took an hour long North Harbor Cruise in San Diego. It was a nice experience. The Bay is very calm and we were able to enjoy the awesome views of the city. No motion sickness for my wife! The boat captain Max provided a nice commentary about various sights along the way with historical facts and fun tidbits! I thought that was interesting and valuable! The upper deck can be a little cold ( yes even during a summer afternoon) you may want to come prepared.Tickets/reservations should be done in advance. We could not get a seat on the cruise departing in half an hour. One less star for the smell on main deck where you board the boat. They take pictures of all entering the cruise - perhaps it can be only for those who have interest!
Had an amazing time, Very entertaining and informative and relaxing!
Big Bay Boom Fireworks Cruise is great. Fourth of July fireworks up close. There are four barges in San Diego Bay that launch the fireworks: and this ship goes by The Midway (downtown). You get a close up view of one or two of the barges.I arrived an hour early and the lines were well organized. Flagship has three cruise ships leaving for the Fourth of July fireworks and you have to find your way to the right line.
