We shared an olive oil lemon bundt cake and a chocolate chip cookie with champagne on their beautiful patio. The cake was moist and delicious, and a generous portion. Champagne fizzy and festive. Can't wait to return and try more of their delicious-looking menu items!
Really loved the desserts we tried and would definitely reccomend.Parking can be a pain but that's the nature of the location.One downside I think could be approved upon is the way you order. The line moves past a display of all their offers (which is fun at the time) but, by the time you hit the register it's hard to remember what you've seen/chosen, let alone what it was called. It'd be helpful if they had a visual menu at the register to hig your memory/help you make your final decision.Otherwise, great desserts and nice atmosphere with friendly staff.
If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’ve been keeping yourself from happiness. Absolutely delicious desserts and pastries that will make you wanna come back the rest of the week. Highly addictive in the best way!
I went to this and the other Extraordinary desserts store, the customer service and food is better in this one -based on my personal experience. Staff were friendly and really nice. I did like their desserts, but was expecting something more flavorful with the passion fruit tart, I think all the fruits overwhelmed the passion fruit flavor. The white chocolate cheesecake was my favorite since it had a balance between flavor and sweetness. I recommend this place for desserts, but don't think they're really extraordinary (but the price xD)
This place is amazing. Top of line desserts and made with such attention in detail. We don't usually go to the same place twice while visiting but this one captured us. First time we ate the chocolate truffle bread pudding and this time we tortamisu and it was amazing! So glad we came back
Open late and serving amazing desserts and coffee. Perfect spot for a late night craving or a cute date night! Everything looks too pretty to enjoy but when you take a bite you just want to devour it all in the next one!
This place is my go to for a quick dessert fix or even (last minute) whole cakes. A few days ago I picked up the Ivoire Royale cake. It was beautifully decorated and tasted amazing. The berry filling was delicious and the frosting wasn’t too sweet.
The perfect last stop after a Downtown or Little Italy dinner. There’s always a line in the evening on weekends, but quite honestly, I like standing in line because I need all the time I can get in order to make a decision :) The best way to truly enjoy whatever dessert you choose is to accompany it with coffee and indulge as you sit at one of their outside tables. Highly recommend the bread pudding and chocolate chip cookies ?
They moved from original location - shame they have not updated address here. Owner is a San Diego legend and really friendly. Great dessert selection! So many different options for different tastes. Coffee and other food available. Vegan chocolate cookie is to die for!!! Even the granola is extraordinary!!
All looks, no substance. Just ordinary dessert flavor, extraordinary presentation. I loved how these desserts look - no doubt that every single one is photo worthy. But the flavor just isn’t there, which is unfortunate because you can tell they work so hard to make each dessert look gorgeous. Presentation is important, but so is the quality of the recipe. I wasn’t impressed, and have tried multiple things, so I won’t be back.
