This is such a unique and best dessert tasting experience. The flavors and presentation is just wow. I would definitely recommend try coming to this place atleast once if you are visiting San Diego.

I have mixed feelings for Extraordinary. We used to go there quite a few times before Covid. Just visited today and found out they opened their dining room. First, they did away with the usual restaurant service. You need to choose and pick your food and pay for it before you get your table. They also did away with the waitressing. Hence, you pick up your water from the bar. They do bring you your food, it took a while. I suspect because of the limited employees. Having said that, the food was still really good! And still amazing cakes and pastries!

Awesome dessert place! If you have a sweet tooth, this place should be on your places to visit list. The presentation of desserts in this place is fabulous. Desserts are delicious with wonderful flavors and they come with delectable sauces.I have tried their Blood orange ricotta cake, Vikings cake, Mango Pana Cotta and Chocolate Croissant Pudding. All were delightful! This place is a treat to your sweet cravings!Their desserts are worth trying, however, the prices are steep. So, prepare yourself to spend more bucks for your sweet cravings.Definitely a great dessert place!

This chocolate strudel was something else. It’s colossal compared to any that came before! I couldn’t even finish the decadent delight. Decorated with brownie chucks, a strawberry, and rose pedals? Extra for sure, but I enjoyed nonetheless! This place is loud, sure, but I’m here for the desserts, not the set piece! My home is quiet enough, but lacks the delicious array of sweet things all about the joint. There’s also ample seating too, so I can sit in the corner all by my lonesome.

Please set aside your dietary guidelines "just once" and enjoy. The name says it all. We shared several large individual slices of various cakes. Black Velvet, Viking, etc. Each one quite different, each wonderful. Excellent carry-out packaging.

I didn't like the staff's attitude/service, they were a bit rude with their answers... There wasn't a lot of people because it was early so I think they should have a better way to treat customers. I asked for an iced tea but they didn't pay attention and just gave me the tea pot with hot water -I ordered the same in the other store so I know iced tea is available. Unfortunately a lot of their gluten free options have coconut, I wish they have variety. Place is bigger than the other store but I would definitely recommend the other one over this one. I went with three people and at the end only two of us liked the overall experience/desserts.

We got the chocolate bread pudding. It was amazing just not our type of flavor for bread pudding. But, I still Will absolutely be back. Look at these pictures everyone! This is the real deal of flavor in here

The two pastries that we tried were delicious, not sure if they were worth the line though. They didn’t have any option for my toddler who has an egg allergy.

I've had this place saved to visit for a while and finally got the chance to come. I love sweets and this place looked amazing. There wasn't a long line when we got there which was nice, but it also meant I felt rushed to order, which for someone as indecisive as I am made the experience a little less enjoyable. All the dessert options are in a glass case and then you order with a cashier. It's recommended to take pictures of the things you want because you can't see them when you're ordering. The prices were pretty steep for what it was. The presentation was nice, and the flavors were good, but I'd say it's comparable or slightly below Porto's (I know they're different, but similar). If the atmosphere had been a little nicer, it might have made the whole experience better, but the building almost felt like a cafeteria and the outdoor seating was closed.I got the blood orange ricotta cake and a brown sugar oat milk latte. Both were good, but overpriced in my opinion. The latte was super tasty, but I expected better presentation for $9. The cake was moist and had good flavor, and I enjoyed the sauces that came with it.

EVERYONE recommended this place... Even firends in Los Angeles said to stop by. The desserts are a feast for the eyes as well as the tatebuds. The dining in area is still closed for COVID protocols, but outside seating is still available.
