Unbelievable coffee. Gluten free and vegan options for donuts and other delicacies that somehow taste even better than the “real” thing. Friendly staff. Comfortable atmosphere. This is the perfect place to get coffee.
Delicious latte and yummy snacks in a relaxing atmosphere. Lots of nice places to sit inside and outside. Very nice people!
We went here a month ago and my family still talks about the amazing customer service, desserts, and drinks they had. The employees were super nice, definitely recommend this hidden coffee shop in La Jolla.
Wherever I go I always look for the best cup of coffee. Elixir coffee in La Jolla, southern California is one of the best cups of coffee I have had. They also have gluten free donuts which is brilliant for people who are celiac as not many people cater to people with celiac desease. Its good to know a relative can now get both a good coffee and a sweet nibble in one place.
Asked for Wi-Fi, password didn't work, when I went up for help the woman working was then extremely rude and didn't offer any help and did not care at all. So I was just standing there and ended up leaving to another coffee shop. If customer service and positive vibes matter to you then I would avoid this place at all costs.
What a gem! Totally was surprised by this place! Great coffee and tea selection, also have wines, pastries, gelato and other good stuff. Very cute interior and pretty quiet being off of main street . Will definitely be coming back here
Came by on a Sunday afternoon after noticing the sign while we were walking around. Nice courtyard area. Got a cup of oat mocha and a bag of beans. Mocha was good but the choco sauce was concentrated on the bottom so it got sweeter over time. The espresso shot in it was spot on though. Beans are dark and strong. I was assured they were fresh because there was no roast date on the bag. Crepes must be popular as I saw multiple of them being served while I was sitting. I still remember the little kid at a table shouting "these are the best Nutella pancakes I have ever had!" :)
Lovely. Nice atmosphere, great coffee. Plenty of seating. Located in a fun walking area with lots of shops and places to eat, although they have wonderful, simple food choices like flatbreads and breakfast foods. I wish we'd eaten there over where we did. The espresso con panna was a lovely shot, the raspberry white mocha was to die for and the caffe latte was delicious. The screaming goat (I think that's what their signature espresso is called) is just really, really good espresso...and they sell that in bags as well. Parking was a bit challenging, but just be patient. :) We will be back!
There was only one person here and she couldn’t take any orders for at least ten minutes while she worked on preparing a pick up order. Several customers waiting in line left because there was no one at the counter. There should always be more than one person working here if they are going to be preparing pick up orders
Great latte art and great service!
