Great donuts, friendly staff with great service, and an awesome upstairs patio to enjoy your treats on. It did take them a minute to make our coffee but it wasn't a terrible wait and everything we had was worth waiting for.
The donuts tasted amazing. The chocolate and vanilla donuts were fresh out of the oven and glazed which made them taste even better. They had a good selection of donuts that seemed to be constantly replenished. I am only giving 4 stars because of the really long wait time. We waited almost 45 mins in line to get these donuts even though there were at most 8 people in front of us. If they can figure out their wait time, I will definitely come here more often.
What a Beautiful Dounut Shop! Puts all others to shame for ambience and coolness factor! Looks like they sell out early, we were only able to try the Powdered Donut holes. Good not great.
You might be confused by the reviews and it might go to say it depends on your taste. I agree that the service could be improved and more efficient but i really enjoy their donuts. It reminds me of Krispy Kreme donuts with a nice outer texture but the inside is so light, chewy and melt in your mouth. They have different flavors all the time to keep it interesting and I’ll go as far to say that it’s the best donut I’ve ever had. I think it’s worth trying to see if you enjoy it as much as I did.

Slowest service ever! You would think going to a donut shop would be a quick stop and go, but everytime I visit (local) it takes them 5+ min at the window to give me two donuts that are already premade. I really don't understand why grabbing two donuts that are within hand reach takes that long. Perhaps they need more staffing so the cashier is not also in the back trying to check on freshly made donuts or another window for quick orders. But overall the line and wait is not worth the donut. Donut bar is much more efficient in getting people in and out, and the flavors are better.
Donuts are top notch! Vanilla bean was my favorite. Coffee was great too!

Best donuts i've ever had. My boyfriend and I bring everyone who visits here and they also LOVE. The patio upstairs is so cute too. Hidden gem in San Diego!
I love donuts and a couple days before I tried Donut Bar. After walking through a less than ideal downtown, standing in fairly long line and seeing donuts that were more about the kitsch than the flavor I was disappointed. But Devils Dozen doesn’t disappoint!! Fantastic! Get coffee elsewhere but donuts here! I got a couple cake donuts and the specials were raised donuts in the flavors of Girl Scout cookies. Unbelievably good. Go for the raised over cake but all good here!
