My family and I stopped there on our way home ,after visiting a love one at the hospital. It was about 9pm, there was no one at the front or any waitress attending the tables, we knocked on the front counter, and after a few minutes a man came from somewhere and told us to seat anywhere he was going to call a waitress to help us, there were four tables occupied by strange people, some were screaming across the tables while talking. the carpet was dirty there were crumbs and pieces of food all over and backpacks on the isle, since only one section of the place was available for dinning we had to walk through the middle. noticed about 5 or 6 tables that hadn't been cleaned after people ate and left. Soo there was NO WAY we were going to eat there, (even though we like Denny's and had had many good experiences in many other Denny's restaurants). I would like to recommend the Manager to pay ATTENTION to the customers opinions to improve the hygiene and overall cleaniness of the place as well as the personnel performance, remember customers deserve good treatment.
I go there with a group. Last week I ordered salmon, and it was overcooked and as dry as cardboard. This week I tried eggs benedict, and what I got was muffin, ham, poached egg topped with cheez whiz. It was disgusting. I have never heard of eggs benedict made with cheez whiz. Next time we meet there I'll try a milkshake.
Would like to give a special thank you to Denny’s employee waiter Sebastian R. My daughter and I enjoyed our breakfast very much, Sebastian greeted us with kindness and took our order, very assisting on what we needed and He’s super friendly. He’s very speedy in restaurant and get the job done. Food is fresh and delicious. I would also like to thank the chefs/cooks for our hot meal. I will be coming back soon.??⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️? Denny's is always reliable for breakfast any time of day. They also have a really good lunch and dinner menu. The service was great as always!I like this location because the booths all have glass dividers between them and the restaurant seems like they took great pains to protect their customers in a permanent way. I also appreciate the privacy from the noise from adjacent diners.Outdoor dining is available in good weather, which is almost every day here in America's Finest City!
Great food and service. I go there fairly regular. I dined in. I'd rather sit down and eat rather than in my car or take home. My excuse to get me out of the house.
They were taking a rediculously high amount of time to seat us and they mentioned us just to take another extra 2 minutes to seat us, I'm hungry I don't wanna wait for 15 minutes to get seated nor 10, it should be 5 minutes max. When I got seated they took too long to get water and it felt like dealing with tired old hags or me on a bad day, overall sloppy, lazy and dry customer service
Are you kidding me!?this Dennys restaurant which is located on Clairmont Mesa is horrible. The look outside and inside is nice. Cleaned and plenty of parking lot spaces. But it's NOT too crowded. Hmm!?and yet I wonder. ? the services is awful ? experience I had. The waitress didn't took the correct orders. The portion is smaller and the food is cold. What the hell!??for the price I payed. I deserve a hot Meal! I get the wrong order and cold, that they used instead of making the food fresh and hot ?. They used a air fryer to make the food. As I was watching the cook. The kitchen never seen hot steam coming nor the amora of freshly made food going out to the customer's. Is no wonder this place was empty. I told the waitress, that this is not what I ordered. She said that I asked for it. I got upset and told her:No! I didn't asked for this and you need to understand the English language of taking orders of any customer's. I just didn't wanted to keep arguing with the female waitress. She didn't fully serve me as well as I supposed to be served. Second cup of coffee was off. She took real long to bring the check ✔. And heard her complain in Spanish speaking ? to the cook ?. Finally hand was wave to get some attention. To pay and leave out of the place. First time coming to this Dennys restaurant, never again will I be coming back. Too good from the outside and inside and is a shocking experience one has to go thru. Horrible! I would recommend this place to chef Gordon Ramsay, see if he totally agrees with the service here at this Dennys restaurant. Shame on the owner of this place. I rate this place a big fat zero!??
The servers were extremely friendly and kind. However there was a lot of meat on the menu. The hash browns tasted like they were cooked on the same grill as the meat. I went there because a friend loves to go but it's not a healthy food place. It would be great if Denny's offered a nice bowl of steel cut oats with all the fun toppings for Breakfast. Then I would happily go along with my friend. Good people, the only way we are gonna beat COVID is to get healthy.
