The pancakes we ordered were nasty and sour. I informed the waitress who then only offered to get us more?!?! I’ve didn’t want more as they were nasty. Regardless, she insisted! It took forever to get back to us so I just decided to get the bill and leave. Before we left she came running out with chocolate pancakes (my granddaughters) and regular for me. I proceeded to taste them and they still tasted sour. Even our waitress said they were sour. I paid $47 and change. I even left our waitress a nice tip! Needless to say I’m done with Dennys. I hadn’t been to a Dennys in years and my granddaughter wanted to go there! Yuck! Even a credit off our $12 each meal. Plus the waitress never came back to refill our drinks.
This low rating is not for the food, as I did not have the chance to have any food. One person seemed to be the cashier and hostess, and didn't appear to be doing either job well. I joined 3 people standing in line, and 2 more came in behind me. No greeting for anyone, no offer to seat anyone. Then the employee was just gone. At least 3 of us turned and left.
Food was good but service was very slow.There very few people in there and it wasn't busy, but it still was probably 12 minutes or more between when we got seated and when our waiter came to take our drink order.I understand that restaurants are understaffed, but I was still disappointed with how long it took for us to be waited on hand for the food to come out.
We had a great time here. They have nice big booths. We had 7 in our party. We sat in the back so we didn't bother anyone. We all got good food but my husband's potroast was dry. I understand it was late but they should have offered something else. Don't serve old dry food! The wait service was good. We did have to make them fix my check. They overcharged on my cheese hashbrowns.
I'd like to see my waiter Alex is a very good waiter. Never have to wait long for my food and it is always there to fill up my cup of coffee. If I was his boss I would definitely give him a raise. I'll mention it to him when I come on Friday
They met all the basics for an enjoyable dining experience. 1) the server, Ray, was as nice and friendly as can be. Great customer service. 2) the food was fast and accurate. Asked for eggs over medium and that is what I got. Food was hot and plated well. 3) coffee was hot and fresh. 4) place was clean 5) atmosphere was nice.
Great waffle grand slam breakfast at Rancho Bernardo Denny's. Service is always excellent. Attentive manager. Always clean and sanitary. Employees appear to be trained well.
Denny’s is a reliable breakfast spot. My boyfriend and I have dined at this location multiple times. Despite how busy they are, service is always fast and pleasant. Our order is always correct, the food is always tasty, and they keep the coffee flowing. The service here is really outstanding.
This Denny's was super nice. Really clean. The staff was really friendly. Food came out great. Our server Tony was awesome!
The server is the best! Great service! Great food! Everytime I have come to the RB DENNYS Ray the server always extends such a warm welcoming. He always makes sure everything is perfect. Dennys should definitely look to him to set the standards!!! He's amazing!! The best Dennys across the states!
