Try their Salted Maple Latte! I love the mix between salty and sweet. I usually take a bag of their roasted coffee home to grind and brew. Staff is always nice and helpful. Never disappointed with the drinks I order. Oh! They have donuts too and other pastries available.
I love this coffee house. They’ve a great selection of beans. Well roasted and is great for espressos!
I was disappointed by their rude staff. They’re incredibly cheap as they wanted to charge me extra for milk because I asked for ice on the side, but I had already paid extra for oat milk.
Stopped by here today before heading home back to LA. The customer service is here is very on point. Both gentlemen were kind and super friendly. My apologies for not getting their names. I asked him what he would recommend and he said the mocha latte and the champ. I have to say he did not disappoint. I will definitely be back whenever I am back in town. Thank you!
Their vegan donuts are always a winner, and coffee is decent too! Not my favorite in the area but way better than Starbucks. Their matcha is terrible (either too sweet or too bitter, it's always wrong) but The Champ is good or even just a plain latte/capp. They also serve alcohol!
Great nitro cold brew, I think it's the best caffeine buzz in town. Service is always nice and quick too.
Now open till 5pm (as of 12/20/21)! Dark horse has delicious coffee and awesome service. Nice to go window sometimes with a small line but always worth the short wait.
South Park is not short on the number of locally own cafes. Each unique and respected in their own right. While sitting is limited here, unlike Communal, this is a great grab and go location. Additionally, Mutual Ice Cream is served here making it the ONLY ice cream shop in this neighborhood. My kids love walking down here for that reason.
Just enjoyed a coffee from Dark Horse in North Park. Thank you so much for making this Monday morning special for me. I truly needed this Pick me up.
Consistently the best. They also know how to make perfect kids hot chocolate that comes out not scalding!
