Owners a sassy thing I asked for a kid friendly hot dog because my son is picky he told me dont call them kids they can choose hes five I know what my son likes not all that fancy stuff on dog .I found a hidden jem of market st.its called taste of chicago grill I've been to em all this is hands down the best place this man is humble and great food....
A friend and I came here one day because we found the name of the place absolutely so hilarious (and in Hillcrest no less.) We may have come because of the name, but we stayed (and kept coming back) for the hot dogs! Great place for a quick food stop, stop next door at the liquor store for a great selection of snacks and drinks.
My hubby and I had a craving for chili dogs... googled and decided to give Daddy's Hot Dogs a try. Drove from Alpine to University Ave and I gotta say it was totally worth and will do again.
Everyone needs to check this place out! We got the Manhattan and the Chicago dog, both were so so good. The owner is so cool, friendly and will chat you up while he's cooking! Such a dope spot.
