Excellent! If I where dreaming of a distillery this would be the real life expectation. Only thing that could of been better where if the tours where open. Oh well just means we will have to return on future visits and enjoy this establishment yet again!! Devils share bourbon old fashion was amazing! ?
Went for a gathering with my church group. Even though they where being so busy the service was wonderful the Ambiance is terrific there and the food is delicious. The short ribs and the salmon were to die for. I would highly recommend this place. Didn't even know it existed so close to our house.
I don't know what these people put in their spirits but I'm hooked! This is a very nice location and it was nice to watch the Dodger game before we went back home. The only bad thing is that you can't get more than six cans to go.
First, I love Cutwater Spirits even before I came here. I love that they have options that actually taste like cocktails and not sugar in a can. So, I had to visit the distillery since I live here. I was blown away by the food! It is such a great spot for great drinks and food. You also get the try the latest or hard to find cans or do flights of their liquors! The only piece that is hard is that the location is random, so you either need a DD or a cab/uber to get out there. There are a few other breweries nearby that you could potentially visit to make it an all day thing!
Loved our two classic cocktails, definitely want to come back to try the food! We ordered fries, broccolini and shrimp n grits- wouldnt get the broccolini again since the tempura tasted ashy/not good.
Imagine being able to drink a superior cocktail and it comes pre made in a can!? That’s exactly what Cutwater is and I have stocked these puppies in my fridge for more than a year and they never get old. All my friends want them, and I love them. Even their spicy Bloody Mary tastes EXACTLY like a bar quality Bloody Mary. My suggestion, go buy some now!
They serve alcohol here.AtmosphereVery cool. There are fires dancing next to the tables, distillery pipes and valves as tall as the building, and plenty of space at the bar in case there’s a wait.FoodWe got the potato sourdough bread and the grilled carrots. The carrots were better than carrots have any right to be. The sourdough bread was moist and the Cutwater Bali Hai Dark Rum Nutmeg Butter was both salty and sweet. Nothing beats warm bread.DrinksLike I said, they serve alcohol here. We got a variety of drinks. Noon Patrol, Cutwater Mai Tai, Tiki Vacation, Black Pearl, Winchester House. All were good. The Mai Tai was strong, sir. The Tiki Vacation was a little too thick, but still good. Winchester House had a nice spiciness to it. Spicy as in ‘has spices’ not ‘ooh hot spicy wow.’ServiceGood! Our server clearly identified herself as a human, which was excellent. You just never know these days.PriceTypical.RecommendYeah, I would.
The holiday drink specials were amazing. My husband tried a flight of various whiskies, and enjoyed the experience. He didn't come away with anything mind bending, but whiskey preference is a delightful, complicated, personal preference. Cutwater's architecture is mesmerizing. I spent the majority of my time sipping my mixed drink and staring at the large beams in the open ceiling. Beautiful construction and design! Cutwater buzzes with energy from the large number of customers, and the staff is very knowledgeable about whiskey and the production process. I will be a repeat customer!
This review is being written after some time but I remember the food and drinks being solid. Also really cool decor with surfboards and all of the distilling tanks. Highly recommend the canned Cutwater cans - strong and delicious drinks.
OMG guys!!!! This place is amazing ?, seriously good food and spirits plus ambiance and great customer service from Bryan!!! Try the grilled carrots, meat &cheese board, potato sourdough bread, burger and don't dare leave without having the sticky toffee pudding, so yummy. Last visit bought the Black Skimmer Bourbon and loving it!!
