We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Mixed Tandoori platter, Goan Shrimp Curry, Coconut Chicken Curry. Each came with 2 sides, basmati rice, daal, naan and spring salad.Service was excellent. Decor was very nice. Food was good.
First time ordering from this restaurant (take out) and really happy with it! The owner was very nice and the food was fantastic. They use a spice rating of 1-10, and each entree comes with choice of 2 sides (aka, rice, naan, raita, dal, etc.). The paneer tikka lal mirch was something I had never had before and was very good. Similarly, the chicken green masala was excellent. Lastly, the lamb briyani was some of the best I've had. 10/10 would order from them again! Can't wait to go back for in-person dining to get the full experience.
I would give 0 stars to this restaurant and especially this location. The wait staff was so rude and had no etiquette, we were not even greeted upon arrival. After ordering our food, it arrived within 5 minutes which was strange because we ordered a variety of dishes. Upon tasting, we learned that it was all essentially the same dishes that they plated differently and presented to us. Within 10 minutes of the food being at the table, we were asked to pay and leave because they were closing. 1. They should not have seated us if they would not even allow us to eat. 2. All restaurants have the courtesy to allow customers that are in the restaurant to at least eat what is on their plates before showing up with the bill. 3. The staff was so rude and not at all apologetic for their behavior. Instead, they were very defensive and accepted no blame. Overall, the food was bland and not worth the drive there. I was better off having McDonalds or something instead of this trash restaurant with trash service.
Ambiances is good. We tried lassi and lemon grass soup, both were delicious and set high expectations for main course. For main course we tried kadai paneer which mostly have no curry filled with lots of onions, capsicums and paneer which was hard to eat with naan, sooooo dry to eat. Other one we tried fish curry, the curry had fried fish added in it and we didn't like it. All curry we ordered with naan which was good and they gave Rita with the every curry. Quantity is little less, can say limited to a person.
Wow! What delicious food! Everything was fantastic, quick service, friendly staff. Wish I lived nearby because I'd eat here all the time!
Food is tasty (though naan bread is often times a bit undercooked), prices are competitive and the ambience is good. Service can be slow at times, quantity served is substantial. Kid friendly too.Now for the pick up service, the people on the phone always seem a little rushed bordering on rude. They no longer display prices on their website, dunno why? Its the only decent Indian food option in the 4S Ranch/Bernado area and they know it. Worth a try, though.
Love this place! So delicious and always want to save some for leftovers...but usually stuff myself because it's soooo good! Maybe I should get 2 entres so I can have more the next day. I'd probably super-stuff myself and eat it all!I really like their chicken curries, and the Naan is wonderful. The cumin roasted potatoes are a nice side.
This is one of my favorite eating places in town. I've been there twice in the last 2 weeks and the food is always awesome. Last night I had tandoori chicken with a spice range of 5 out of 10. I played it safe but it was really nice and spicy. The rice and the naan bread were awesome as well. I followed that up with a lemongrass soup that was fantastic.I'll be sure to give them another visit very soon. The ambiance was fantastic as well as the staff. They were very friendly and helpful and got my order right the first time. The next time I go I will plan to eat there as I've been taking everything home the last two visits. Great job and I give them a RAVE review....
Behaviour was so rude and not friendly. Name says “Indian”, but better you avoid if you are from India. They are not expecting Indian customers there, and if you still want to go expect somebody is coming behind you once you are out of the restaurant and ask whether you guys are paid the bill or not. It will be embarrassing and will never expect from an Indian restaurant.
Went there for lunch. Ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh and Tandoori chicken lunch specials. They were good and pretty authentic. The salad and lentils soup were a nice addition. Generous portion of naan. Will definitely go back again.
