THE WOMAN WHO RUNS THIS PLACE IS SO AMAZING! The cupcakes are some of the best I've ever had! I literally have been going to this shop since I was 2! (I'm currently 11) If I could, I would rate this place 7/5 stars!
I was really excited to try this place and the flavors they offered looked so tasty. I ordered some mini cupcakes, lilikoi, vanilla and not-so-red-velvet, unfortunately the only positive was the cake density, which was good and very moist. There was almost no flavor to the actual cake or frosting through, it was bland and had no hint of passion fruit or vanilla or anything other than butter and sugar. I was so disappointed, not sure if I hit them on an off day or what but would be hesitant to go back based on my first experience there.
The price does not do justice for the taste, I was disappointed ? in the taste. Great service though
Their vegan cupcakes are the best I've ever had and they are gluten free ta-boot. I recommend the chocolate and the mocha/coffee flavor but they are all good. The frosting is to die for.
My family and I love this place. Chocolate? Lillikoi (passion fruit)? Salted Carmel? Strawberry? Vanilla? Carrot Cake? Red Velvet? Yes please, love them all. What a great Point Loma institution!

THE BEST! We had Cupcake squared for our wedding and it was the best decision, they are delicious, unique and very professional. They make cake tasting fun and exciting, easy to work with and great on the day of the wedding, the set up was perfect and just how we wanted it. All out guests loved all the different flavours and the unique look.Now we come back here every year for our anniversary and get the flavours we had at our wedding, it's so special and fun! The price is very very reasonable for what you get.Highly highly recommend it for just an everyday desert or a party catering! Come try for yourself.
I wish they were open more hours but taking time off work to go there is SO WORTH IT!
It's a bakery...yes they do catering but they also have a selective variety of pastries..berry tasty ...enjoy it..I had the chocolate and cream with hot delicious coffee...awsome..thank you my friends and travelers to sunny paradise San Diego.D Third Eye
What can I say, the salted caramel cupcake was the best I've ever had. Try it, you'll love it.
