There was a steady stream of people walking in to order plus delivery pick ups. So I take that as a good sign. Even though there are still tables in the dining area, it's not set up for dining in.We didn't know what to get, so we got everything! Dark meat chicken was beyond what we were expecting. Made fresh, the skin was delicate and crispy and the pieces were HUGE. Had we known, we wouldn't have also gotten wings. Also really tasty, naked and served with sauce on the side. So chicken, A+As far as sides go, the sweet waffle was great. Corn bread was kind of sweet and cake like. The biscuit was more like a giant dinner roll.Hush Puppies were a surprising win. Crispy outside and good flavor inside without being a hard rock.Unfortunately the fried okra was mediocre and there's tons of it in a side order.
Fried okra, hush puppies bomb! The gizzards could stay in a about a minute or so after that timer goes off! Good flavor, always fresh and priced right!!

This is the best fried chicken I’ve ever had! I recommend calling ahead to order as they’re usually pretty busy (with good reason!). The staff is always super friendly and accommodating, and everything I’ve tried here is always so good. If I could give ten stars I would I love this place lol

Ordered the chicken gizzards last week and I’m still chewing…….they don’t know how to clean off gizzards properly TAKE THE ROUGH PART OF THE SKIN OFF THE GIZZARD BEFORE YOU FRY IT I THOUGHT THAT WAS COMMON KNOWLEDGE I HAD TO THROW MY ENTIRE MEAL AWAY!
I have no idea why these asian entrepreneurs are so good at frying chicken. What I do know is I am a huge fan of their food. The mac and cheese is the one item on the menu that is garbage. It tastes like a bland bechamel that's been poorly seasoned and combined with macaroni.
They're food is bomb! I do have a coworker with bad allergies to seafood and I dont think the seafood oil is separate from the chicken oil because she started having an allergic reaction to the fried chicken. However, if you dont suffer from a seafood allergy, eat up! Cuz it's very good fried chicken!
We were told about this place by a punk rock musician in a bar in South Park. Best chicken in San Diego bar none. Large pieces and low prices. I hope no one finds this place and turn it into a KFC.
Crispy, flavorful, and friendly service. Prices were a bit high for what you get. 50/50 chance I return. Won't be a regular.
