Just ate here. They overcooked my steak, forgot my salad with my order and on top of that the manager told me that the reason for the mistakes to my order is because it's better to dine in than take out. NOT A GOOD EXCUSE. Cute place but the food don't match. Got my refund but won't be back.
I took some friends out for dinner and I ordered a bean burger and instead was served a hamburger. As a vegetarian, this is a BIG deal. They made me a new one but by the time it came, everyone had finished eating. So I just packed it to go and gave it away. As a courtesy, they offered a free dessert which I did not really want - but others at the table enjoyed I t. So, I went home hungry (except a few fries). The restaurant should have just allowed me to cancel or comp the burger. Giving beef to a vegetarian is not cool. Really disappointing - and the evening cost me $200!
The ambiance and food was pretty spectacular! For two people, the bill ran up about $100 excluding tip - which is fairly expensive even for Del Mar. The restaurant feels likes it’s still settling in to its new locale. The noise level has very high mixed with music in the background. Our server was incredible but seemed a bit overwhelmed, and the entire place felt a bit understaffed. It’s a very cute date spot maybe for occasional outings!
Was good for service food was good but not memorable. But a very good experience
