Okay this is a good little place to get some comfort food! :-) we always enjoy eating here when we come to San Diego! :-) the facility is bright as lots of room! comfort food is really really good
Decided to stop here for breakfast while visiting in San Diego, based on the good reviews. The food was good, we had crepes with strawberries on it. And a waffle breakfast sandwich. Which was my first time trying that, but it was very good. Overall the prices are a little high for breakfast. But for some above $15 average per plate might be good for some. One thing I don't understand why businesses charge you extra to use your credit card when they have high price points for the food that they serve on top of that. And despite that I own a business and you should never penalize your customers for something that cost you to do business including credit cards. It's no different when the power company raises your bill or water usage goes up, you going to put signs up everywhere saying you must charge extra when those things go up. Even though those fees are there and I understand that when using credit cards, it should not be displayed as a discouragement. For these reasons I took a star away, because rather than charging for this credit card there's other options, maybe charging if the total orders less than a certain amount, or something like that.
The food in the service here was delicious and awesome. The portions were giant, actually they were too big, but only in America will you complain about such a thing. I got a healthy breakfast wrap, and it turned out being a burrito bigger than you get at Chipotle. It was good, but it was a bit much. I'm still going to give this place five stars because you can't beat the food & service, especially for the area. It's close to the Marine station.
Waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Food came out quickly and was tasty!! The waffles are the best bet! Crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside.

Doesn’t look like much on the outside, but give it a shot! I am a chicken and waffle connoisseur, so when I saw this place while visiting for work, I had to stop for breakfast. It didn't disappoint! Such a huge plate of delicious food for a great price. The chicken had delicious flavor and was fried perfectly. The waffle had a nice crunch so it don't get too soggy from the syrup. SO GOOD!
When we got there they were very warm and welcoming. We ordered some hot chocolate for the kids and I got some hot tea. They said their drink was good and my tea was also really nice. We were waiting for a friend and the staff were very understanding. When my friend got there we ordered some food, the process of ordering food felt very calm and not rushed. Our food was very good but the portions are quite big but that's ok. I really liked this place and it's a nice place to go for breakfast ??!

Fantastic service! The waiters where the best, friendly, checked on us often, this is what good service is! Food is good too! Large portions, very filling, everything we had was delicious and hit the spot for a classic American breakfast.
This restaurant was really good other than a very long wait for service. The staff are very friendly and helpful; just understaffed I think. The food was excellent once we received it. I had an All-American platter that was so good and my daughter had the apple bacon waffle that was also delicious.
