Very good food Just a little slow today but other than that ?

If you buy bread it is good. But the other day I ordered a turkey sandwich and I had a sandwich with a slice of turkey and 4 of lettuce. Really disappointing.

My favorite bakery and sandwich place in San Diego. Close proximity to the airport means that I try to stop by at the start and end of my trips! I've been visiting for many, many years. My favorite is the chocolate loaf and chocolate buns that is available on weekends. The loaf can be ordered whole or sliced.Half sandwiches are quite large, about the size of my hand! I really enjoy the home roasted tomatoes in the sandwiches. Sourdough is really good and chewy. All the baked goods and breads are very fresh! I recommend the cinnamon rolls.Nice outdoor area with umbrellas and tables to enjoy the sunshine, preferably with good food and company. Indoor seating is also available.

We were able to enjoy our yummy sandwiches in the patio with our three big dogs after we had participated as a rescue for the SD Humane Society Walk for Animals. Quite a few other dogs were also with their people having lunch in the patio. Not sure if there are typically more than a few dogs or if there was a higher number due to the walk. All dogs were well behaved - just hanging out with theirpeople. It was really great.

When I come to visit family in San Diego (Liberty Station area), I always stop here for a bite to eat - am or midday for me. Great sandwiches, cookies, scones, etc... Everything I've eaten here has been very good to excellent. It does get crowded at times, as you can imagine. Today (Monday) I got here at 8am and there was zero wait and lots of social spacing. BTW - almost no customers wear masks here, in case that is a concern for you.

Amazing bread, sandwiches, and pasties!?: my fav is the orange cinnamon morning bun.. yum yum?: all of their sandwiches are delicious and filling. A whole sandwich can easily be shared between 2, or save the other half for later! Try the olive bread.. won’t let you down.☕️: not the spot for coffee.. pretty basic and their lattes don’t do much for me.

Everything tasted amazing! The vanilla shortbread cookie melts in your mouth! The orange sugar bun was so delicious and the chocolate brioche twist was super fresh and moist! A win win experience!

Went there twice in just a couple days, just because they were so good. I love bread. For me it is amazing. And to find great bread, this is the icing on the cake. It’s like going to San Fransisco and going to a certain famous sourdough shop. For me, this is the boudin’s of the south and that is nothing short of awesome. The selection of breads are amazing, not to mention the breads themselves. The cinnamon rolls are great and their sandwiches are ridiculously good. And as a bonus, their peanut butter doggie treats are a hit with the four legged friends too.

A great bakery in Liberty Station - I especially love their chocolate hazelnut twists and brioche cinnamon buns. They also have a great selection of different rustic loaves. Get here on the earlier side because by lunch time the more popular items will likely be sold out.

Their food is great (specifically their sandwiches and their hot chocolate), but I took one star off because of their hours. Lunch here is rarely a possibility for us so when we do come we’re usually rushing to get a sandwich for dinner before they close.Last time I went in it was pretty chaotic because they were trying to close just as a bunch of people came in presumably for dinner as well. I think they could alleviate this by either closing by 4pm or not closing until 8pm or later.Closing at 5pm causes a last minute rush at closing time which just results a poor experience for both customers and employees.
