Hi friends, I enjoy ice cream. I'm generally a plain Jane wanting vanilla. Today I thought it would be fun to enjoy today. Last time I tried Cold Stone Creamery was maybe 15 yrs ago??? So I learned that Cold stone makes their icecream fresh daily and u can add Toppings from there. So I asked to get different flavors and yes French Vanilla was one of them. The other two flavors were Chocolate Almond Silk and Pistachio. So first I would say I wanted to avoid too ? sweet, and Cold Stone didnt disappoint. The Pistachio was really rich and creamy in flavor. Truly a delight! The French Vanilla was indeed yummy, too. If u like Chocolate and don't want dairy, this Chocolate Silk is a delicious treat! They piled the icecream up high and topped it with Whipped cream just the way I like it!! I think it was well worth the price and flavor!!
Ordered ahead via the website to decrease wait time and when my husband and I showed up to pick up our order 3 minutes past the time it said it would be ready, they hadn’t even seen the online order and therefore hadn’t even started to make it. This completely defeats the purpose of the order ahead function. We will be returning back to the Grossmont location from now on.

I've been here maybe two or three times and every time it's always great. The staff are always pleasant and they always have a ton of options. I love the praline ice cream. Good prices too!
Salted caramel mix in that my daughter ordered was disgusting- it's extra extra salty with the flavor of super fake popcorn butter. Aside from that, she reported there was a random nut in the caramel.We waited outside as instructed : no more than 3 people in the store. The employees seemed chummy with the 2 girls being helped before us - it was a long wait. As soon as we entered - didn't even reach the part of the counter where we could see the flavors - "Are you ready to order?" I add the question mark to be grammatically correct,but honestly it felt like an order not a question. Felt very rushed the entire time. I was given less ice cream because the sugar cone I asked for wouldn't accommodate. I didn't have the chance to pick out a mix-in before the cone was handed to me. And, she didn't even ask!! The 2nd star only because the other employee was trying to be nice.
Ice cream is homemade and mixed in as your order. They have a lot of variety and the portions are relatively bigger for the price. The ice cream cookie sandwich has about three scoops worth of ice cream, definitely sharing size!
