We randomly wandered in here for an impromptu celebration for a promotion at 2pm or so. We were not expecting much but as soon as we walked in Erin the bartender warmly welcomed us and we decided the party would stay here. Some friends joined us and we discovered a good friend is a regular. I think he has been hiding this secret little spot from us ;) the place is described as a dive bar - and it is- sort of- the whisky, bourbon, scotch selection is great!!! As good as many so called “whisky bars” in the city. A really great time. We will be back :)
I travel to San Diego every couple of months. Club Marina has become my neighborhood bar when in town. Erin and Shauni are the best. So welcoming and interactive.
Club Marina is an amazing place. If you are looking to have fun with good people and good music this is the place for you. Ryan and charli are amazing people love seeing them there.
The weekends are a whole vibe! The crew at night are extremely awesome and really go out of their way to make sure everyone has the best time! It’s always a great mix of guys to girls and I’ve seen the stuff always make sure everyone feels safe and welcomed… not bad that I have the same name as the big bearded guy there too haha If you could give 10 stars this places is worth it , Reagan Charli Patrick and Ryan are amazing! And during the days I always make it a point to stop in for Erin’s world famous bloody Mary’s!!! Stoked I stumbled on this place and made the friends I have in this bar. The local industry regulars treat me like a local and invite me to hang with them at their spots.
Some of the best people and best memories are at Club. I've been in the area and have seen this bar grow and evolve into such a welcoming and rad place for anyone to hang out. I've been mostly here on the nights but the day bartenders Erin and Shahni are amazing ! Love my night crew peeps Charli , Ryan , Travis , Patrick and the new new girl Ronald Reagan! Thanks for always making this guy feel so welcome!
My two star rating isn't based on the establishment, but the crowd that I've frequently encountered. It appears to always have a bunch of young Navy boys that are trying to establish their dominance in society. This place has respectable and tolerant staff, some arcade games, and ONE bar billiard table; but douchebags are plentiful. I don't recommend this place for mature adults looking for a pleasant experience.
Not many places do you feel welcomed so far from home. Just a Navy Guy looking for a watering hole to call home. Started coming in here about a year ago and started coming back for Charli and the other bartenders but gained a family in the process. Ryan, Travis Patrick have always made me feel comfortable and it’s a cool spot to be yourself. Ohh and the new girl Regan is kinda cool.

Decent Service but this is not a dive bar. Just look at the prices. This is not the club marina that it was. Just another bar on point Loma
Shahni is the best, friendliest bartender. Billards and great happy hour.
