I wanna give it 5 stars cuz it does taste good but they are just soooo smaaaall compared to other places for this price! I mean $4.50 for a tiny taco sucks when you can have a loaded taco for the same price down the street.. but the flavor is good though! So much variety and different kinds to choose from. Also great vegetarian options ( honest they are some of my favorite ones here ) so gotta try it!
Stumbled on City Tacos as we explored San Diego. Excellent! Friendly service, quick food, and delicious. We enjoyed out tacos out at a table on the sidewalk. Our favourites were the fish taco and the Mexicali.
It was so noisy and we had a hard time getting one of the 5 tables that they offer. They are not disabled friendly at all. I ordered the scallop taco and it smelled and tasted so fishy I couldn’t even eat it. Three of the five of us got sick in the middle of the night after eating there
Just ate here for the first time and I'm in love!! Best tacos I've had. Good serving size and the bomb! I had two tacos one topped with guac and pork rinds. I do keto so I just didn't eat the shells -The perfect lunch!
Yeah these are great tacos. By themselves they're good, but the creativity in the house specials really sets them apart. The spicy shrimp one, while not spicy, is their best taco. Go on a Tuesday for a small discount on Taco Tuesday! There is a restroom waaaaay in the back.
Got a delicious mahi mahi burrito here! They add crispy cheese to the outside of the wrap - so good. The staff is super friendly too. This location allows dogs and has indoor + outdoor seating. It was no issue to grab a table at 1pm on a Sunday.
Had the carnitas and pescado tacos. While a bit small for what you’re paying, they’re absolutely delicious and packed with flavor.
I loved eating at this spot. However, lately it’s been below average. Salsa bar is STILL closed! What the heck?! Tacos were ok. They gave us two salsas that here half full. Service took a while. Two stars for staff being cool.
