We ordered the appetizer sampler, spicy honey shrimp, Kung pao chicken & orange chicken. The appetizer was missing the tempura shrimp, which was the reason we ordered the sampler…so that was frustrating. Everything was ok, but Panda Express is more flavorful. We were visiting the area & wanted to try something quick & comparable to Panda Express but different. We wish we would have just gone with Panda…it is much better.
This place has great food. I really love their fried rice better than any other place.. but that's just me. I love all their food there. Try it.. you'll love it.
Food was fantastic and portions are big. Our food was piping hot and cooked fresh. The Mongolian beef was pure perfection, orange chicken was crunchy and not soggy nuggets, egg drop soup was hot and so, so good, and Kung Pao chicken was delicious and had a great mix of fresh veggies and meat. Overall very happy with this place and can't wait to order again. Cost was a little higher than I'd expect for a takeout place usually, but considering inflation has hit everything, I wasn't too shocked.
I’ve been here a few times, there is normally a nice man answering the phones and taking the orders. On Thursday a lady answered the phone to take my order then hung up in my face before she confirmed anything. I had to call back to see if the order had been recorded but she told me it was so busy inside of the restaurant that she hung up after she heard my order. When I got to the restaurant I asked her about the shrimp so I could add it to my order but she ignored questions, ignored me trying to order the shrimp and called the next person in line. She was extremely rude in person and on the phone so I made the decision to no longer support the business. The lady refused to refund my money although I didn’t take the food. I snapped the picture attached to this review of her throwing the food she refused to refund me for in the trash.
My family had a horrible experience here. I wouldn't recommend visiting. My mom visited this week with her service dog to order take-out and the lady behind the counter refused to serve her. My mother has a certified service dog and showed the staff the paperwork and the tag, and the staff ignored her and yelled at her, saying that she needed to leave because she had a dog. Completely unacceptable to refuse service to someone with a registered service dog. I would absolutely never come back here - and I recommend others do the same.
Grateful to be able to have food on the table, but I was really looking forward to eating this especially reading the reviews. But the food is really thumbs down, no taste on the salt pepper boneless chicken and the orange chicken and beef green beefs is very salty
I’ve been look for good Chinese food in San Diego for years, finally found it! Saw the bad reviews and could not relate to it at all. Ordered and received the food within 45 minutes. Still piping hot! I’m from the east coast, Chinese food there is like taco shops here. Every corner. This place was delicious! We got the general tsos, and pork fried rice. I was playing it safe, and it hit the spot! I’ll definitely be back :)
They have the best hot and sour soup that I've had in San Diego so far. I would go again just for that but their other food is delicious also. Friendly people great service!
1st time at this restaurant. I must say, the food was not bad, the service was good as well. When you walk in the aroma was good. Two words.... Loved it.
We haven’t been in a while but it’s great to know they have the same high quality food and service :)
