Called in an order to pick up. I ordered the fried chicken dinner with two sides (tater tots and small salad). The fried chicken was terrible. The chicken was cold, chewy and the coating looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. The tater tots were cold and also tasted like they had been sitting around for quite a while. My husband had the grilled chicken fiesta sandwich and he said that the sandwich was good, but the French fries were very soggy. Not impressed!
Great food... Great prices.....and great atmosphere . Plus the staff is very friendly and service is great. You should definitely stop by and give it a try.It was the best place I have been to (not including my brother's chippy, Bob's fish and chips).
We decided to go here because it was close to where we were staying. Staff was friendly, food was really good, and portions were enormous. Only negative for me personally was they serve Pepsi products.

We went for Mother's Day. The food was amazing! We both had chicken and waffles (not something I typically order). The strawberries tasted farm fresh! The whipped cream danced on your tongue as the subtle hint of cinnamon on the waffles kissed you on the hinges of your jaw.We finished our meal with trying the deep fried cookie dough. My son LOVED IT! I think we could both hear colors after that much sugar but hey; let's be serious cookie dough isn't a health food!

The food here was absolutely amazing. The cod for the fish and chips was perfect. And the Bloody Mary was excellent.
Very friendly atmosphere. Everyone is in a good mood here. There's nothing bad on the menu, and portions are generous. They have a full bar, and plenty of both draft and bottled beers. When we were there they had both front doors open which really made the air nice and fresh. Handicap parking is not directly in front, but off to the side. Still, it's a nice smooth easy walk. The chairs are comfortable and sturdy. And the benches are comfortable. The tables also move, which makes it easy to get them at just the right distance.
We ordered a chicken salad and found a huge bug inside the salad halfway after eating the meal. After alerting the waitress, she just removed the salad from the bill… DISGUSTING! Management— wash your vegetables thoroughly! (Picture: Look on the bacon)
Our server .. Isaiah was on it, attentive and polite and professional, he made our visit so nice. I totally recommend visiting Chicken Charlie's here in Poway.
