I’m surprised there are not a lot of people know this place. I mean, here is already pretty popular, but not as good as it should be. When I recommend Catalina Offshore on Little Red Book, it got over 2500 views in one day. People love to know where to buy the best seafood in San Diego, not only limited in supermarkets and Farmers markets. My husband and I always come here for fresh fishes, shellfish and uni! Yes I love Uni, here has the best price for the most fresh Uni. And we also brought some sashimi back, they are amazing too!
Epic fish market, with sushi supplies and more ready to serve. I found some great masago and ikura here, which are sort of hard to find most places. Definitely worth the visit for all the sushi grade fish.

BEST market to buy AMAZING GREAT QUALITY fish and seafood. They also sell Sea Urchin (Uni) and that is heaven for me!!! Highly recommended! They ship all over the USA. Too bad they don’t ship to Spain lol
Got some quality local uni / sea urchin here (~$30/100g tray), paired well with the fresh sushi made onsite. Would definitely recommend coming here.
I love absolutely love this place. I'm a avid fisherman myself but I don't have any fish in the old fish bad (My deep freezer) I go to Catalina offshore to pick up fresh local fish. This is a fish market I guess you can say. They got tuna Maui Maui sea bass rock cod Salmon etc. They got sushi bar an marinade an seasoning for fish. Go check this place out it has the freshest fish around!!
