The food was delicious and authentic. Great atmosphere and located near many unique shops.
Always delicious food and never had any problems with the service and it is such an amazing location
Always fun! Beat service. Best Margarita! Always a favorite! After you can walk around Old town!
Perfect place for outdoor dining in Old Town. Even though the place is big, it gets filled up quite fast that's because the food, vibe & drinks are so good here. Love the vibe of this place and we went there on Saturday evening for dinner and they had live music. Margaritas were awesome. One of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Food portions are big so two people can share one order. Do try this place and enjoy.
With the beautiful weather, it was a busy afternoon at Casa de Reyes. Yet, our wait to be seated was only 10-15 minutes. The fresh bottomless chips and salsa were hot and fresh, perfectly salted. The salsa was flavorful and delicious.I ordered the shredded beef taco and chicken enchilada combination plate. The plate’s presentation was garnished beautifully and the entree had perfect portions. The flavors blended nicely. The made fresh daily tortillas need a special mention and an extra star. Our server David was friendly and attentive and anticipated our needs.Definitely a must visit for out-of-towners or locals alike.
My wife and I visited the Old Mission area and loved it for a second time. We missed this place last time, but will not miss it again. Great salsa, great food, and great drinks.
PROS: Great food Free basket of chips and salsa Affordably priced Strong margarita Nice and cheery vibes Love their uniform! CONS: For some reason, the staff kept bumping into the back of my chair though there was a good amount of walking space. Forgot silverware.
Great live music and vibe at outdoor dining restaurant, felt as if I am eating at a restaurant in Mexico. We tried sizzling chicken platter, fried ice cream and melting hot churros and all of them tasted good. Must visit when planning to dine in San Diego old town
A perfect atmosphere for dining outside in Old Town. The drinks were spot on and the Mexican food was delicious, even had a Tex/Mex flare. The sizzling fajitas (beef) were our favorite and we chose corn tortillas. Also, the nachos were a great starter.
If you want great atmosphere, expensive drinks and that’s it, this is the place for you but the food is overpriced and average at best. Blandest sizzling beef fajitas and stuffed shrimp, and the beans and rice sides were blah too. They brought us free chips but when we got the bill, they had charged us for the salsa. Two entrees before tax and tip was $48.00 for lunch. We felt so ripped off.
