Great food and service! We had tea leaf salad, rainbow salad, chicken wings, and basil chicken. Everything was very tasty.Definitely look forward to going back.

A neighbor recommended this place. Neither of us have ever tried Burmese food. Ordered the garlic noodles with pork and eggplant shrimp. The eggplant shrimp was really good. A little salty, but delicious. The garlic noodles were okay. A little plain and not too much flavor.

Verdict: Delicious! Authentic Burmese food in a great plaza (plenty of parking).Top Dishes: Peppered Beef, Coconut SoupEnvironment: Brightly lit and colorful with different paintings. The tables seems to be spaced evenly and doesn't seem cramped. There's also outside seating. The parking area is pretty big since you can park in the same area of Carl's Jr.Service: Great service. Juliet helped us with whatever we needed and was extremely friendly. They checked often to see if we were ok and if we needed anything.Food: Great flavor with the few dishes we ordered. See below:Calamari: This calamari was different in that it came with small garlic chip similar to how Chinese restaurants serve salt and pepper shrimp. It's a great compliment to the calamari itself, which was perfectly battered and crunchy.Verdict: Definitely worth it.Peppered Beef: This dish reminded me of the Vietnamese shaking beef except it doesn't come out in a hot skillet. The flavor and sauce is subtle and isn't overpowering. The vegetables it came with (onions and bell peppers) worked really well with the dish. Works great with a side of rice. Once suggestion is to somehow keep the dish hot, which is why the Vietnamese restaurants use a skillet. The beef on the outer sides of the dish got cold pretty quickly.Verdict: Definitely worth it.Coconut Soup: Yum! This dish was rich in coconut and had a hint of turmeric. It's not quite curry and has it's own unique taste. The chicken it came with tasted great as well.Verdict: Definitely worth it.Burmese Milk Tea: Quite similar to Thai Tea, this drink wasn't too sweet and complimented the dishes quite well.Verdict: Worth it.

Ordered takeout from here. I have been living in San Diego for nearly 9 years and this is by far one of the best food experiences I've had. The quality of the flavors of food was phenomenal, veggies fresh, and the portions more than generous. Can't wait to eat inside next time. Welcome to Northern SD! So happy you're here, thank you! ?

First time here. Did not disappoint! Claim to fame is the only Burmese restaurant in SD! Craving the tea leaf salad and it did not disappoint! Love the presentation and interactiveness of the entree! Added yummy rainbow salad, sweet & spicy wings and super yummy rainbow salad! Topped off with friendly and professional service and clean, modern designed restaurant and dining indoor (main) and limited outdoor areas. Plenty of parking in the outdoor plaza. Definitely coming back! Highly recommend!

This is our first time in this restaurant and never had Burmese food. This restaurant just opened 2 months ago. The menu has a good variety. Our server was very nice and explained that Burmese food is close to Thai, Indian, and Chinese. We enjoyed our dishes and we’ll definitely be back.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! I came to San Diego from the Bay Area and used to commonly say how much I missed Burmese food, and now it’s here! My go to dishes are the tea leaf salad and samosa soup. An amazing mix of flavors and a culinary experience unlike anything you’ve had in San Diego! The staff are very friendly too!

I went here with my friends for dinner and I must say we were all impressed by the tasty food this place has to offer. List of things we ordered:Tea leaf salad (I cannot recommend this enough.. it is soo good)Coconut chicken soupJalapeño chickenTofu stir frySweet chilli tofuNoodle saladApart from food their service was also quick. I am definitely going back to Burma place to satisfy my taste buds. I do not have photos of every dish as it is hard not to dig into them as soon as they are presented.

tasty food so far…similar to indo-chinese flavors..will definitely try again…a bit on then pricier side with rice needing to be purchased separately

We had a take out from this place as I had read great reviews. The food was good however they screwed up our order and gave us a wrong item. Also the chicken we had ordered was on a sweeter side. I know they are a new restaurant that just opened a few weeks ago so hopefully will get better. I tried calling the place that my order was wrong but the phone was busy.
