Brueggers Bagels goes hard on food, quality, service, options and toppings! I haven't been in easily 8+yrs when I was living downtown Sdiego. I actually prefer this location to C street due to accessibility, food choices and overall pace. I hoped off the 27 Bus @ 8:38am...it took me an hour to get hip app!
Cold bagels, cold coffee .. very disappointed!!I love this place but since usually is full in the mornings and they don't have enough personel I did what they recommended last time if I am in a hurry "order online" . I order thru Dordash to pick up, well when I arrived the order on Dordash app said wasn't ready but still when they asked me if I need help I showed them and told them I knew was going to be ready in few min but for my surprise the order was ready packed and they gave it to me so I was happy. But...when I openedEverything was cold as an Ice... the coffee was cold, the bagels were cold (not warm at least) .So what did they do? Prepare the order and not update the app? Because the point of the app to show the time is going to be ready is because when you pick it up will be minimum "WARM"
We found the bagel to be horribly dry and tasteless. The spreads were slimy and unremarkable. Still looking for a good bagel shop in SD.
Excellent and fast service, great food
My go to once every 6 weeks when I go to La Jolla to get my hair done. A cup of coffee and a bagel here goes a long way
Best bagels around! Obsessed with the blueberry bagel with strawberry cheese. So many other great options! Sweet or savory, Bruegger's has you covered.

Was very much impressed with the offerings of bagels and cream cheeses. Hash browns were also good. Became a fan of Bruggers. Went to Brueggers at other locations also after this. But this location is by far the best Brueggers I have been to.
Just came in and waited and not even a hi, good afternoon. Nothing just kept cleaning without acknowledging my existence. How rude. No wonder business go bankrupt. Unbelievable, this used to be my favorite place. Maybe it's management ? but the employees here are very unhappy. And unhappy people get very little return business.
Unfortunately staff, does not want to change, their attitude remains unacceptable; the first time I, as usual, smiled and did not argue, but when it happens again, even in such a tone: "get out," even the most balanced person may not like it.I remind the leadership and decision makers that not only have I ceased being your client at all, I am still in a free country with the rights of a citizen. You will continue to offend people - it's your choice!Even if this doesn’t help as much as I do, let other people know who is hiding behind the mask in front of them!
