Great atmosphere and great food! I had the Mr. Presley French toast (PB, banana and bacon) it was absolutely delish. My hubs had the jalapeño bacon Cheddar omelet which he said was amazing also. The coffee was good and came with a cute carafe of cream. The Ketchup had some zing which my hubs loved on this potatoes. They had the front window all open and there was a patio in the back where people could eat with their dogs. I can't wait to be back in San Diego so I can eat there again!!
We got our drinks fairly quickly. Food took about 45 minutes and it really wasn't that busy. But it ended up being worth the wait. Breakfast was great! They have lots of bread options and really good jam.
split the San Diego Benedict and tried the brussel sprout roasted potatoes Rachella recommended. Was great with the spicy ketchup! She even gave us more food recommendations for other places around Ocean Beach.
Clean, accessible, good parking early in the morning. It’s open, airy, and spacious. Kelly was my server and did a great job. The staff seemed very polite and welcoming. They have a good plant based selection and are willing to accommodate customers needs. I came in for the jammin Bennie which is a vegan eggs Benedict and it was really tasty! I would highly recommend this place and will definitely come back.
We went here for breakfast and was told we had a 20 minute wait. No problem, I get it that the service industry is struggling with nobody wanting to wait tables, cook, or bus tables but our wait was over an hour. Thankfully, there is plenty to do as we walked down to the beach and around several blocks while we waited for our table. Service was really good and the food was outstanding. Be prepared to walk up the stairs to be seated. Not a big problem for most people, but if stairs are an issue, plan to go elsewhere.

Absolutely wonderful flavours and textures can be experienced at Breakfast Republic. The Shrimp & Grits Breakfast is definitely worth ordering… several times.
I really loved the breakfast burrito. The salsa was amazing and it's just a great environment to have a meal.

Took a while to be greeted & seated but once we we got a table it was nothing short of excellent! Big portions so come hungry. Waiter gave us the proper amount of attention, and we had a pleasurable experience! Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
