Happy to find the taste of Brazil here.
I frequent this market place often. Clearly a favorite for local Brazilians too. Their selection is great. Picanha, sal lebre, guarana, açai, dadinho, seven, bubbaloo, paçoca, composto de mel e extrato de própolis. Of course, they have pão de queijo, catupiry, farofa.Friendly service (the owner older(guy) is the best. He gave my kid extra candy for speaking in Português. Obrigada.). Clean. Easy parking.
You can find everything you need for making a brazilian food
The man at the front desk was super sweet. He spoke portuguese with us very well. Prices are a little high, but I assume it is due to shipping directly from Brazil. Very authentic. Amazing little shop. I highly recommend the passion fruit chocolate ❤️
I was thinking if I should write this review or not, because I really like the products they have, but unfortunately their cashier (a woman) treated me so bad yesterday that I’m considering buying somewhere else. I go to this market every month to buy a good amount of items, I’m quick in the store, I’m always very nice and friendly with the cashier, but for some reason she isn’t nice to me at all! Every single time I went there she was rude, but yesterday I got really sad because there’s no reason for her to treat me like that. I don’t know if is personal (I think it’s not since I saw other people complaining about it), but I think this specific woman should treat their costumers better. The impression I have is that she doesn’t like Brazilians, and if she doesn’t like Brazilians buying on this store, she shouldn’t be working there.
They should to treat better their customers
They should to treat better their customers
Great selection
Not very satisfied with the service as the store has failed to inform the consumer of charges when paying with card. I am writing this as a warning to all shoppers especially Brazilians. A few weeks after being given a total price and then after using their card machine to pay for the purchase, I noticed a second receipt with a $2 charge added. I asked the sales rep why she did not tell me there was an extra fee when paying with card, she acted surprised that I confronted. I explained that there was no sign posted and no verbal warning was given, and that is a failure to follow business guidelines to inform customers of what they are paying for. I asked them to fix it by posting sign and informing the customers of the ATM fee. The customers has the right to know as if paying with cash to avoid the fee is a choice they may take.Weeks passed and even after my complaint, a couple of friends have gone there and were charged the $2 card usage fee and did not see any sign nor were inform of the fee. This not being Trustworthy. Not Fair to the customers. And it is not Ethical practice. If this continues I will file A Complaint with BBB. I have called the store a couple of times to complain to the owner or manager but no response. This is a very shady way to run a business. The things they sell are already over priced. Para o dono do negocio: por favor, Fix it or the nest complaint is with BBB.
I am not familiar with Brazilian food and went there with friends who are from Brazil. I read the menu before hand and was not too excited not recognizing the food. I thought I knew what safe food I was going to order nut my Brazilian friends had already ordered when I got there and we had the coxinha and kibe and a cheese bread and potato sticks with cheese and he ordered Picanha and Feijoada. I ventured on my own and ordered extra farofa. I should have let the experts do all of the ordering. I didn't like the farofa at all. There is a drink called Caipiroska with vodka that was delicious. Service was fast. There were 8 of us and the bill came to $260 with wine and the vodka drinks. And I am very sensitive and did not get any heartburn. There was live music on the patio where my friends danced. They enjoyed speaking Portuguese to the staff, We were there for hours eating and catching up and no one of the staff tried to rush us. By the time we left the small restaurant had every table filled,
