Went to Bowlegged BBQ and this place is fire!! I love the smoke smell from the BBQ, it’s not overwhelming but you can smell the aroma of the smokers. I ordered the Bowlegged link with the brisket on top, the brisket was super juicy and messy, this is how you’re supposed to eat BBQ, all the meat is juicy and moist. I’ll be back to this spot!! Give it a 10
Went here for the first time today, and I would come back every day if I wasn’t moving away soon. Great food! Friendly service! Amazing atmosphere. I wish I had known about this place sooner cause Ida been hitting it up everyday.
First time here and we will be back. We ordered the full rack of ribs (sauce on the side), Mac-N-Cheese, Mac Salad and corn bread. Very satisfying for two adults and had leftovers. Outdoor shaded seating with a nice breeze, relaxing music and feels like a backyard cookout.
This place was the bomb, came to San Diego for the holiday weekend and ran into this close family friendly bbq spot. Brisket tender and ribs are fall off the bone good. Full of life AND flavor. Service was A1 ?? only downside is the parking is terrible, more like there is no parking. But the food is worth the parallel hassle.
Bowlegged BBQ is an excellent homestyle restaurant with Old School Music playing on the outside courtyard to highlight its flava.’ While waiting for our fresh order of fish we were offered a complimentary beer (on the house).While talking to some of the customers i learned Bowlegged BBQ offers catering/hosting to Groups and Organizations. The food taste excellent!
Greens are a little too sweet for my preference, but the BBQ is great. Brisket was tender and the rib tips were meaty. Hot link was good too.

All right listen up y'all. I'm in town visiting from Texas where barbecue is a religion. I tried the brisket ribs and chicken along with potato salad and baked beans. Potato salad is on point beans are tangy just the way I like them. The brisket full of flavor Great smoke Ring. The ribs are on par with the brisket just as great. BUT let me tell you what their barbecue chicken is the best barbecue chicken I have ever had in my life I've eaten barbecue chicken on the east coast and all kinds of different states and places but this place has the best barbecue chicken if they took that barbecue chicken to Texas they would win an award first place every time it's better than anything I've even had in my home state. The atmosphere and hospitality at this location is 150% out of 100%. This is a good wholesome family owned place and I'll be back thanks for the Good eats guys!!!!
