SO CRISP! My favorite KFC (Korean Fried Chicken), you can tell they paint each wing with sauce. Every wing is well sauced but you won’t need a bath after eating this chicken. The spicy has heat but it’s still enjoyable. The soy garlic is my favorite. The incredible crisp-ness of the chicken shines through. Always get the pickled radish for that refreshing palate cleanser.I like to get my spicy with the tteokbokki. Everything is cooked perfectly and they are generous with the rice cakes and fish cakes.
FOOD & DRINKSThe spicy wings and the side dishes we had were all good.SERVICENeither good nor bad.ATMOSPHERESpacious but not cozy or inviting but I don’t believe it's supposed to be like that anyway.RATINGThe food is good and I would come back for the chicken wings if there were not other options available that I wanted to try out first.
We had the half and half traditional wings( spicy and soy garlic), seasoned fries and popcorn shrimp. It was very good. I recommend it trying it!
On a busy Friday night the wait was minimal for a table, as well as our food as they were very expedient. I highly recommend the Chicken Katsu and the Bull Dak if you like it spicy and piping hot. Worth parking a block away for.
Takoyaki, soy ginger drumstick and seasoned fries, that’s what I chose. I happened to be in the area and was searching on my Google maps for a place to eat. I had this place saved to try, so I did. I was hoping to try the salmon avocado ball from the photos but they no longer carry it. Bill was $22 plus tip.Average prices.I was satisfied with my choices but would definitely come back and try more from the menu.
So attentive and the food is delish ?
Pretty good!!! We got the chicken katsu and some fries. I thought the chicken katsu went really well with the coleslaw, and I definitely recommend eating it together if you have the chance- even my boyfriend who typically doesn’t enjoy coleslaw thought it was delicious! So glad I tried this place!
I know this franchise back when I was in Seattle and it was amazing, so when I found out there’s 2 locations in SD I’m so excited to try, I tried the one located in Convoy St Clairemont Mesa. I ordered steam Shu Mai which was not good, Pork Buns is good, French fries serve with herb and garlic is so good, the fried rice is tasty, chicken drumsticks needs a little seasoning, the boneless chicken is taste better both can be served with 2 sauces; soy garlic or spicy or half and half, Tteokbokki is under cook but I ate them all. This place is good for to go, if u decided to dine in don’t expect a good service. Overall I still recommend this place, however this area offers a lot of Asian food so a lot to choose. Verdict: I will not comeback!
Everything was so delicious ? and the lady taking care of us was super sweet! I'll definitely visit again, it's a must to eat here!
Bonchon KFC fried chicken is simply the best. I highly recommend the Soy Garlic Flavored wings. Best fried chicken on the planet!!
