Good food . Briyiani and shrimp popcorn is tasty. Naan bread was bad . It seems like no Indian restaurants in San Diego that i ordered knows how to cook naan . Its a shame . If you can’t make the food right stop selling them or learn to cook it right . Biriyani has some raw tomatoes on top , if i need salad i would order it separately or give us an option to add or remove stuff while we order . Otherwise Biriyani was good .
Really liked the combo meal we had at the restaurant. The curries were very well prepared and each had a unique flavor.
I’ve lived in India 22 years and I can tell you this is authentic Indian food! I got the kadhai chicken and chicken biryani medium spicy. Definitely going back to try their other stuff and probably will get the “spicy” spice level. Strongly recommend!
Great food at reasonable prices. We appreciated the quantity of food as well as the quality of service. Our waiter was patient and attentive, and our food was relatively fast to come out of the kitchen. Our favourite dishes were the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Karahi chicken. Great Indian food in Clairemont, highly recommend!
For starters at Bombay Coast they are always adding new dishes and curries. They will always satisfy your hunger and bring a new level of happiness into your day. Out of there various different naans my personal go to is the garlic naan, because of its distinct, strong, and mouth watering flavor. It's the go to for garlic lovers around the world. They are outstandingly nice to newcomers or regulars. The world could use more nice people like Chief Zubin. He always greets you with a smile and he actually tries to get to know you. The Indian Cuisine is spot on, I love every flavor that comes in the delicious curries.
Amazing service, staff was friendly. Food was delicious. I left my card after I left. I called them and they answered and confirmed it was in their possession. I came back 30 mins after they closed and was able to get it returned. Honest business, much appreciated! I highly recommend!
If you're looking for fresh and delicious Indian food, then this is your place! Food was excellent, prices fair, and friendly service. They are very vegan friendly, offering several vegetarian curries. The naan was hot and fresh, too. Outdoor dining available, highly recommended.
Exceptional quality of authentic Indian food! Had a great experience when my wife and I went for the first time to get some lunch. We got the shrimp patia for an appetizer and for the main course got the lamb rogan josh and fish koli curry! What stood out was the flavor of the dishes which was rich and reminded us of our home country. The owner Zubin was very kind and friendly!! Hats off to this restaurant in San Diego which truly is a gem amidst the other Indian restaurants here!
I went for Vegetarian Lunch Special the food was ok, but the service was excellent.
The Lamb Roganjosh was incredibly tender and flavorful! All of the other food was delicious as well. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable.
