Amazing Gilatto ice cream, the owner is italian and the best flavor in my opinion that you must try is the pistachio, or as the owner calls it, “pistakio”The location is amazing, it was a perfect ending to our walk next to the ocean ??
We went for a day trip to La Jolla beach. The scenery from the beach is gorgeous but the beach itself is underwhelming compared to the other beaches we visited extremely crowded with a foul smell of many sea lions and rocky sand. I give the beach 2 stars. We walked around and found this ice cream shop. Fantastic service and tasty ice creams Try the charcoal vanilla
The best gelato I’ve ever had. Do NOT skip this place. There is often a long line but it goes by pretty fast. We were hesitant but were eating in 10 mins. We tried a bunch of different flavors and they were all phenomenal, but Bacio takes the crown. I have been craving coming back here ever since. LOVE this place, can’t miss it.

I have a few decades of experience eating authentic Italian gelato and this place is by far the best gelato I had in the US. I appreciate SO MUCH when a place takes proud in the ingredients they use, in their quality, and also in making things from scratch, which is my true philosophy about good food. I am always a bit hesitant eating outside because I never know what ingredients they use so having a sign at the entrance that talks about their quality is a good point . The gelati I tried were all delicious and finally a strawberry gelato that doesn't look pale pink like in other places where they add cream.Seriously, I LOVE THIS PLACE!
Tried the honey cinnamon and the salted carumel. (Caramel with rum) Holy sheet was it delicious! I'm half leaving this review just so I can remember the place to go back in case I'm ever down here again.
Cute little Gelato place in the mist of La Jolla. A must when visiting San Diego. Yummy ice cream.

We stumbled upon this gelato restaurant while walking around La Jolla and what a treat it was! Their gelato is the best that we have had and we wish we could have a location on the east coast! There were fresh and unique flavors to choose from and everyone was very happy with their selection. Will definitely visit when we come to La Jolla again in the future!
Was pleasantly surprised to find this practically across the street from La Valencia. Lot of flavors and it looks like they change the menus often, worth the wait in line!
