Fresh fish ! Delicious swordfish and shrimp!
We all ate the Rockfish tacos and they were dynamite! Healthy portions of fish in every one. Choose your fresh fish and get it in a taco, in a plate, or in a salad. Our 7yo daughter tried her first oyster here and enjoyed it! The patio is pup and kid friendly. You have a view of Ocean Beach. Order inside, grab a number, then a seat.
Some of the best for fresh seafood and this location is spectacular for the views. Always busy, so expect a line. Visiting at the end of the day means they will be out of a lot, so don't have a specific menu item in mind. We tried both soups (we liked the clam chowder best,) a sandwich, bay shrimp and crab cocktail, and by the time they went to make my taco, they were out of shrimp, so they made a different taco and offered soup or a beer on the house. We come to Blue Water every time we visit San Diego. This was our first time at this location and we'll definitely be back, wherever they are located.
This place was AMAZING ?Customer service was great, outdoor beach view seating on point and we are obsessed with the food. We tried the award winning taco, which was good BUT our favorites were the battered cod fish taco AND ahí black pepper crust tuna is to die for. Will def come back!
Visiting from out of town and Blue Water was recommended to us. Had the track tacos along with the seared sea salt ahi! Fantastic dishes with perfect balance of flavors. Can't beat hearing the surf while dining on the patio. Highly recommend!

Best fish I've ever had. The staff were helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was what I enjoyed the most.
I've stopped by a couple of times when I'm in town for work and the food is always delicious. As you'd expect the fish is always fresh and there's always something new to try. It's also fun to sit on the outdoor deck and watch the activity going on along the beach.
Heard great things about this place from several people but was very disappointing. The fish all looked great and was very fresh which is why they got 3 stars. Clam chowder was okay in flavor but was sandy. Ordered the fish meal and the swordfish was quite overcooked (which is easy to do with swordfish but a good fish place should know how to cook it). There was also no flavor at all to the fish or the garlic lemon butter which the server recommended. Definitely needed salt (or at least have salt on the table if you're going to under-salt food)
Incredible selection of freshest fish I've seen in a long time. Beautiful sashimi. Pick out what you'd like and they will prepare it perfectly. Great service too. Weather permitting there's a gorgeous sunset on the outdoor patio.
