Best coffee in Little Italy in my opinion. Solid pastries too!
Great space. Open and airy across from a fun restaurant. Staff were nice and coffee was good. I had the Guatemalan single origin pour over and it was really good! I gave this four stars for two reasons: 1) the cup of coffee cost $10 - the most expensive cup I have ever paid in the world and 2) the internet didn't work outside on their patio. Overall would recommend for good vibes and good coffee for a high price.
I live in Little Italy and googled coffee shops near me and Bird Rock Coffee Roasters came up. I realized I walked by this big beautiful coffee shop many times and couldn’t wait to try their coffee. Jackie was an amazing barista. She was very knowledgeable about their coffee and local San Diego recommendations. She gave me a couple of samples of their drip coffee. I don’t typically drink black coffee, there wasn’t a need for cream and sugar, it’s just really that good. The location is great and a perfect space to have a business meeting. They have a merchandise section including the sale of their coffee beans. Bird Rock Coffee Roasters is very tastefully styled and upscale, it doesn’t have a corporate feel like Starbucks. I had a pleasant experience at this coffee shop and will definitely return:)
I always love Bird Rock and I have been to their different locations. And this one at Little Italy is the one I am having an art show until April 30. 2022. Welcome to check it out. If you live nearby, this spot is a nice and cozy place to work and study. If you just want to grab a cup of coffee and enjoy your morning, this space is beautiful and comfortable, and their coffee is amazing.
A nice, friendly coffee stop in downtown. My husband needed coffee, while I wanted to check out the pastries. They had a nice variety, many vegan, and I had a hard time choosing. My husband went with an almond croissant, which had great layers as a croissant should, and I chose a lavender-orange scone. It was huge and frosted with a light, cakey interior, not brick-like as some scones can be. I would highly recommend this place for their pastries.
A cozy coffee shop with ample seating inside to read or send off some emails. The latte I ordered was delicious and the staff was kind. Excellent little coffee shop!
Excellent for those who want to make their own coffee. Apart from providing good coffee in the café, you can also purchase everything to make it at home. A bit pricey, yet it's worth it. The coffee beans are good and the housemate syrups are quite unique. If you buy beans, they'll also give you 1-2 complimentary cups of brewed coffee.
Lovely coffee shop! I often get a hot latte. Their latte is good!
Good wifi, good coffee, good bathroom, but wasn't impressed with the food.
One of the greatest coffees I can remember.
