I’ve heard great things about this coffee cafe, so I finally had to stop by to the Morena blvd, location. Very clean, roomy, vibrant location with seating inside and outside. Minimal parking in a lot but there is a little street parking as well. Their menu has definitely caters to all flavor profiles. They offer teas, coffee, lattes, pastries and healthy food options. We tried the Mexican mocha and vanilla bean latte both 20 oz iced with an extra shot of espresso. The vanilla bean syrup is made in house. I need all my caffeine. Both were delicious and extremely refreshing. Good quality medium roast coffee beans. Perfectly roasted not to strong or bitter. Will return in the future, I want to try their honey bun as well as purchase some Madagascar vanilla and hazelnut syrup for our house. Reasonable prices. They are cashless
I've been ordering coffee beans online from Bird Rock for a few months now and have been impressed with the variety, quality, and freshness. For my most recent order, I somehow messed up entering my address and the shipment was returned to them. They reached out to me right away and were kind enough to ship it back for free even though it was 100% my mistake. So in addition to having excellent coffee, they have incredible customer service! Highly recommend.
Great roast! If you don't drink black coffee normally, Bird Rock may change your mind. Their espresso and pour overs have great notes which range anywhere between nutty and lemony. Definitely a place for people who like their coffee.
Cute coffee shop, good coffee, nice Chia breakfast dish, there were some annoying little flies though that would not leave my table alone, not sure where they were coming from but that can be improved so customers can enjoy their time at the restaurant
Love this spot - we are recent transplants to the area from Santa Cruz and had definitely been missing the SC third wave coffee scene and Bird Rock ticks all the boxes. We usually go for just the house blend which is always fantastic and wonderfully green/citrusy. The pastries on offer are always top-notch as well!
Stopped by here with a friend before heading on a jog in the mission bay area. Plenty of seats and parking. I ordered an iced Americano which was flavorful. Almond croissant was good too. Quick service (and this was during mid Saturday morning). Recommend for pickups and for hanging out with friends and loved ones.
I’ve been here multiple times and their coffee and pastries are delicious! Their staff is always friendly and they gave me a puppachino for my baby which is always bonus points ?.
I love their coffee! They do amazing drawings on the coffee. The employee are nice but they goofed around a little.I love their cookies to!They have a lot of coffee flavors! I recommend you to come here
Joke: Rents in this neighborhood are so high, our coffee house is still a "coffee furnished garage saving up a down payment."Bird Rock Coffee Roasters is housed in a building that used to be an automotive workshop, which gives the space a vibe that I would describe as modern urban fantasy. The specific fantasy I would be referring to is of a date who says, "the house is my landlord's, but I've repurposed the other building into a cute living space," and it wasn't an exaggeration, and neither was anything else he said on Grindr!Even if you've never had that fantasy before—not everyone can be modern or urban—you'll enjoy a visit to Bird Rock! You'll tell the folks there "I like how you repurposed the space," and it'll be a genuine compliment of something they'll rightly be proud of and not a cruel barb (like when I said it to that dude in Mission Valley). You might even use the word "remodel" and they won't make you promise not to tell the zoning board (like when I made that dude in south park promise to try that thing I'd been curious about).* Fast service, excellent short pour, limited outdoor seating. The tasty treats in this place are only exceeded by the fantastic coffee they serve. The staff doesn't bring a ton of energy or excitement to the vibe but you are in and out in flash so who cares as long as the joe is amazing. Its great place to stop by on the way to the dog park in the morning.
