I enjoy coming to buzz (garnet west) in the mornings. My experiences are usually great. However, in the evening I tend to leave disappointed. Several of these evenings from 630pm to close, the restrooms are closed for "cleaning" while clearly no one is actively cleaning the bathroom... really? You need 3 hours to clean a bathroom? Get outa here lmao. I just visited 15 min ago.... ordered a coffee with cream and two sugars and the beverage was cold. Came back and asked for some hot coffee. When the lady handed me the cup I asked if there was cream and sugar in it. She said there was and if I needed more sugar there was some on the counter behind me. Opened up the cup to find no cream in the coffee. Had to return to the counter a third time to request cream. Management needs to sit these "employees" down and explain that you're not coming to work to chill and do as little as possible.
This is by far my favorite Better Buzz location. The baristas are always happy and extremely nice. Highly recommend the Lavender Black Tea Latte and any of their food items on the menu.
Great little place to chill or work, but the coffee isn’t that great. As a coffee lover, I was very disappointed. Tasted like water with color ?
Love the coffee but paid for a full caprese sandwich and I opened it to just ONE tiny tomato split for the whole sandwich. Definitely don’t order the food. Update - Better Buzz ghosted and never answered my email that they suggested to send. I’m disappointed with the lack of customer service.
Not impressed. I came this morning to buy some coffee beans and get a latte cause everyone said this was the place to get coffee now that I’ve back to San Diego. Ordering was awful, the person was either new or not awake cause I had to repeat myself like 5 times, and all I wanted was a hot vanilla latte with almond milk and a couple extra shots. The guy then never gave anyone my ticket, so I stood around for like 15 min before anyone acknowledged I’d been standing there and was like oh did you DoorDash? No the person standing next to you looking at me like he’s never seen me before took my order. So they made it with just an “oh sorry” plus very little urgency, and I’m pretty sure they didn’t make it right cause the vanilla latte was crazy sweet and barely tasted any espresso. I wish I’d asked for the tip or something back, but had to rush outta there to not be late for work. Considering it was dead quiet inside and only like 4 cars in drive thru at 8:30am, while thing was pretty lame. I doubt I’ll be back.
I've been going to bed or buzz coffee for 6 years since I moved here. I will not be going back there anymore. I asked for a decaf coffee. They offered my the more expensive Americano, which is $4.59. I said its kind of expensive. They said I can go somewhere else.Time for some competition friends.
Although this local coffeehouse chain has been quite loved by the locals, I didn’t find it much overwhelming. I visited this location for setting my office for a few hours. However, the wifi was so bad, that I had to went out without finishing the work. This place has some cute corners to sit and chat, or sit with a book, but was not very good for heavy office work! The coffee was kinda basic, so was the muffin. I ate a muffin and a cheesy danish, and nothing was overwhelming.
Had the mocha buzz - would not recommend. Consistency was awful and the chocolate was overpowering. Will not be going back - better off at Starbucks
If I can give no star, I would :).I've never experienced such horrible ghetto like customer service. The place is so loud, very unwelcoming for students. I am not sure why they scream every once in a while while the place is quiet and people are studying.
Had my hubby get me an iced caramel latte with almond milk (makes it so much smoother!) and it was one of the best ones I've ever had! Will gladly go again when we go back to San Diego :)
