I thought Starbucks is bad, but I found smth even worse. 2 stars for quick service, otherwise the coffee (caramel latte) is a fast way to diabetes. Toooo much sugar in coffee, like you drinking a syrup, also too sweet almond croissant. I’m not crazy about sugar, but it was really too much. It wasn’t my first experience with this chain, but I hope the last
Yeah, I came here to try it because a friend said their coffee is really tasty. Drove up and it seems the only option at this place is the drive-thru since there's really no available parking anywhere.I said screw it and parked in the space that said it was dedicated to the drive-thru and went in.The music was so loud I could barely here the guy taking my order. I got a mocha and a croissant.5 minutes later, I got my order. Great on the time but... I can't drink my coffee because the drink is so hot I can barely hold it, let alone drink it! No one likes burnt milk, bro. I'll let you know how it is in 3 hours when it's cooled off. My croissant was smooshed. I'm not sure how from the case to the bag it got flattened but come on!So far not impressed by this place. Just hoping the one at Mira Mesa they're gonna open is better than this location.
Overpriced coffee and subpar service. Asked for some recommendations(it was my first time) but they were less than helpful. This place is tiny. Ordered 3 iced coffees without ice so my friends can drink them later tonight(night shift nurses) and the employee put ice in all of them. Told the guy that i ordered them without ice. No apology or anything. He just grabbed them off the counter and dumped the ice quickly. He left me 3 cups of coffee that were 1/3 filled.... Thanks...
There was a hair in my food!!Ive already been not happy with this location because the employees never forget to ask you if you want to tip, and it makes you feel pressured. In the drive thru they will take my card and ask if I want to tip and sometimes ask how much so they can input it themselves. Yet half the time I don’t get napkins with my food and have to ask for them, my sandwiches are often basically burnt, I never get a bag for my food, unless I go inside and I have to bag it myself, and I’ve tried to pay in cash and they won’t take it unless it’s exact change, and they aren’t very friendly, which I get they are working and it’s busy, but still if you are going to pressure people into tipping every time at least build some rapport. The customer service is lacking. And now I’m grossed out, and probably won’t order food again!
Better than many other coffee shops, traveler is about $24, they have delicious pastries ready for purchase and some cool merch and other extra stuff! Betta Buzz 4 Life ?
We really like this place. Good coffee and super tasty ham and cheese croissants (we mainly come for those!). Though, last time they were out of them which made us super sad.Parking is a bit tricky there and the line forming always blocks other traffic. Not their fault but could be improved. And we love that they always give us puppuchinos for our dogs!
I used to love Better Buzz. Not anymore. They are rude and lazy and clearly have zero concern for customer satisfaction. The quality of their product has diminished completely. I always order the same thing, Og bowl and a latte. I was handed a frozen solid bowl, how am I supposed to consume it frozen? So I asked for a fresh, unfrozen replacement. I was told that they are all pre-made. It would take at least 5 min for a fresh one to be made. 15 min later they brought me the bowl they had originally tried to give me. After the past year of watching each location’s steady decline, this was the last straw. I was a daily customer. That is now over.
More relaxed and chill vibes due to the location. Usually people will just order their drink then get out. Snagged a mint coffee here with some friends and was really good! Staff are all really cool and are definitely some hard working bees, cause there’s always a drive through line so there will be a bit of a wait.
Coffee is great and so are the sandwiches! Always the same quality when we come! I’d give it 5 stars if the drive thru was designed to accommodate the amount of cars trying to order!
I've been here quite a few times now and this place has pretty good coffee... But the girl running orders out to cars was unnecessarily rude. After over 15 minutes of waiting and noticing so many cars who arrived after us get their orders, I rolled the window down and said, "Excuse me,we've been waiting for a while..." Just to be snapped at with, " We're really busy, I don't know what to tell you." Then with more attitude asked what the order and name was and went back inside. She came back out and told us that our order would be put as priority and rushed off. Another person came out and brought the order but it seemed like they just brought the original order that was sitting there forgotten on the counter the entire time because my drink wasn't even hot.The receipt had printed our order at 813 and we didn't get our order until 838.I understand this place gets insanely busy and mistakes are bound to happen but the complete lack of basic customer service skills from that girl was very off-putting. No one even apologized for the screw up.
