Great beers on tap.
I love this place! The pizza is delicious, I love their Cesar salad, the wings are SO good, and they have an awesome & diverse selection of brews! My *only* complaint is that sometimes the sauce and toppings are lacking towards the crust, leaving just as much plain bread as there is what I’d consider the pizza part. It’s not serious enough to take away a star, though! They also have great merchandise for sale and if you wear it in to the store, you get 10% off! Very cool!
This place used to be great but now it's quality has plummeted. Tried calling in an order 5 times before giving up and going in (because they dont offer some of their specialty pizzas online for no reason). This was from 7 to 8. I still decided to go in after this and when I got my pizza it was so burnt that picking it up caused to to crumble.Do yourself a favor and find another pizza place. This one is definitely not worth the price even steeply discounted.Oh and their phone was on (I heard it ringing in the restaurant) they just weren't picking up despite having 6 or so people out front at a time...
I’ve been coming to this location for a few years and my experience has been a hit or miss lately. I decided to give it another shot after a long while and was once again very disappointed. I ordered half a Margherita pizza but it was not what I was expecting. It was not good at all. It also had no basil whatsoever. Not sure how you can call it a Margherita pizza without basil. It’s unfortunate, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends or family.
The quality of the food and service at BP&B has seriously taken a turn for the worst lately. Ordered three pizzas all with consistently poor quality: dry, chewy, barely any sauce at all. On top of that, I received my order late and the staff was unaware of the menu items included for the combo I ordered. Very unfortunate because I used to love the pizza and beer selection.
Very good tasting pizzas. I tried the pesto pizza. Delicious and the crust was thin. They have a large selection of beers, no pitchers but you can get real pints, 16 ounces in large plastic cups (see my photos). I tried the Mexican style beer and it was smooth and refreshing. It complemented the pizza very well. Service was was helpful and fast. We got there before 3 PM on a Sunday and sat right down. About 3:30 PM it got crowded and a wait line formed. They have two clean bathrooms. I will definitely be back.
One of my wife’s and I favorite spots in San Diego. We used to come every Monday. However they change their prices on their wings so we don’t go as often they got a little more expensive. They also changed the chicken wing vendor. So they aren’t the same ones they used to have however they are really good. The staff is always friendly. Good place to go enjoy some pizza and wings and watch the game.
Very good New York pizza. Crust is just right, topping have that flavor. $14 for two slices and a pint of craft beer is not a bad price, at least not by San Diego standards.
Ordered customised slices. After waiting, I saw them give me a pizza, where they threw on a few cherry tomatoes and onions olives and then put it in the box. They should have been placed on the pizza before it was baked! Raw onions and toppings! When he handed it to me, I opened the box and showed him the raw toppings and he said "Oh. I will eat it". He didn't offer to put it in the oven! I left without anything! Crazy people! No care for the CUSTOMER, only for their own BELLY!
Nice selection of local beers and the slices are huge! We're talking NY style size you fold and eat. Pizza was excellent! Service was friendly, will definitely be back!
